The Fundamentals of NuTone Door Speakers

Awesome content! A client has a IS-69 speaker that someone else removed to install new door. No I came to reconnect and saw there’s a grey three wire ribbon cable and 1 black & 1 white wire, but there was also a yellow wire going from the push button to one of the speaker terminals. Can you help shed some light on what was going on there? It all goes to a IM-3303.
