In one of the studios at the School of Audio Engineering there was a dodgy roller chair, it was missing a wheel, but still had 5, so in general it worked. My friend Jamie used to love zooming up and down along the mixing desk like a big shot, every now and then he'd just completely crash out of sight behind the desk. Guitar flipping has always been the cringiest thing anyway. It's almost always a substitute for good playing, like "I can't play guitar but I can sure as hell entertain you". Except it's only really entertaining when it fails. Do lame good old fashioned boomer guitar tricks instead like the Hendrix playing behind your head, or the Pete Townshend windmills. Cos you can still play the damn instrument that way and you won't risk damaging the thing. Well unless you do the coked-up SRV thing where he took it one step further and would ride the guitar like a surfboard on the stage while still playing, cos he didn't think the Hendrix playing behind the head thing was enough on its own. But then his guitar was scratched up to fuck anyway so it was hard to really damage it any more than it already was
