Note: this glitch actually work with any kind of range weapon, ex javelin, and any surface of pavise shield, so basically not only you can actually fly with predicted direction if you choose the right place to plant projective, but can lower the skill point you need

I think it only works on the shield but I haven't tested other surfaces. You're pretty limited in what you can do since the ballista bolts disappear after like 20 seconds, at which point whatever you built on it will freeze mid-air. That's why you can see some objects floating in mid-air etc!

Yesterday i somehow managed to place a bear trap in the air using javelin to build onto. The trap wasnt triggered, i could trigger it by running into it. so yes you can theoreticaly place them absolutely everywhere. @deargrigh if i manage to reproduce it i‘ll message you over Patreon for „scientific clarification“.:)

You can also use javelins for the bear trapping, it lasts longer and it can be placed directly onto your back, you just have to throw low. It also works on targes for throwable bear traps

worth noting. you can place spawn a spawn banner on one bolt and a cover on another. one bolt on either side of the board. then fly about carefully until the banner finished building. (definitely ban-able)

This is in my opinion, the best glitch ever! Play camp: -Build balista, drop the box, pic up any 2h wep laying around -Create glitch, find biggest tryhard. -Trap him and finish him with 2h wep. -Repeat.

was messing around with this the other day, great fun. just had a thought. what would happen if you built a ballista on the shield and someone was using the ballista then you tried picking up shield? is that when you get launched in the air? i've been placing a respawn point on the shiled and running forward and jumping of something to try and place a spawn in mid air or where it won't normally allow you to place a spawn. I also wonder what would happen if you place spikes on a sheild and the king picks it up? king could end up out of reach potentially or die straight away.
