papa, i love you, but you can't hate purdy for being an MVP front runner. he's top 3 or 5 in every qb stat, and #1 in a lot of them. Every good quarterback in this league has had stacked teams, but purdy is the only one who gets flack for it. Usually before every play the reciever will check in with the ref telling them if they are on or off the line, the ref will tell them which one they are and if they are offsides. Thats why offensive offsides is so uncommon. Toney didnt check in with the ref which is why he got called and mahomes is mad at the ref when he should be mad at Toney for not checking in which is basic day 1 wr knowledge

As a Chiefs fan, it was the right call, but he lined offsides earlier in the game, but was not called for it. Also, on Monday night, Jaylen Waddle was offsides way more, but no flag was thrown. The refs just need to be consistent. Also, if the response would have been against the Packers, we all would have agreed with him.
