@@HippoDrones I like the power and delivery, the riding position is a bit uncomfortable since I prefer cruisers. And I am very lucky to have bought a garage with a small house attached to it. It does come at a cost, I have a terrible time controlling the humidity and at times flooding due to the river being about 75 feet away.

I think the name for the last of a living species is Endling. May fit your bike. Any trouble with the Vespa mirrors? They look like they don't extend as far as the originals.

No trouble with the Vespa mirrors other than lack of visibility. But I couldn’t see much with the original mirror on the bike. They look way nicer though.

@@LoneWolferGarage I had a similar kind of mirror/signal light on my former bike. They're great until they get damaged and need to be replaced. Hope you get lots of miles out of the new bike.

Silver dream racer? 😆 How does the speedo get the signal, Is it a magnet reader? could you just attach a magnet on the axle somehow?

@@theodorstravels the king bearing had magnets built into it. And yes, putting spinning magnet on the axle with the pickup repositioned might be in the future, if I can figure out how to mount it.

@@LoneWolferGarage maybe you could use the original bearing outer shell and fit new slightly smaller bearings in to that somehow? Probably after some work with a lathe, on the original bearing...

@@theodorstravels that was my plan when I first started working on the bike. Sadly the inner and outer race were both worn beyond repair or use once I got things apart. Wish I had gotten a picture but the races basically crumbled once the axle wasn’t in holding them in place.

@@theodorstravels used ones are a unicorn as the bearing tends not to survive any work being done on it. I think I’m just gonna stick with the phone speedo set up as long as I have to bike unless I have some epiphany and redneck engineer the hell out of it.

@@stephenlepore4476 that is very disappointing. I know why the speedo doesn’t work, but I’m having trouble figuring out why the tach starts and stops pretty much randomly.
