Māori are indigenous, Britons under roman occupation are indigenous, but modern European are indigenous. They have not been colonized by another nation in a violent takeover with settler colonies established.

I mention Germany (Central Europe) too. When we think of Europe - classical Greece, Roman Empire, Renaissance, Industrial Revolution, Colonialism, world empire, the conquering of America (USA). Where is Poland or the Slavic people in this? They were not mentioned as they are not part of this particular European story from my perspective. They have their own story.

In the modern context however many channels discussing Europe leave "Slavic" europe out unfortunately, and in the context of modern Europe it's actually interesting to hear because we are shaped by different processes, and it might be that we will be the last major area of Europe with a large native majority. Also, the process you mention with regards to south America followed the decimation of their culture and in fact their people. For sure, they mixed with Europeans, but also they lost their own religions, traditions etc. I really hope that in the case of Europe itself this will be different, but it's hard to envision such large numbers of people assimilating to European culture. It will be most likely that they will want to build their own "new world" as you rightly stated, and that would probably mean a large scale conflict...
