I love how anime has become so mainstream and accessible. I remember having to stream or torrent download any anime I wanted to watch in the 2000s, so for anime to be posted on YT and available for anyone around the world to see is pretty amazing! Fun and unhinged episode as always, still don't understand what's happening with the #teamnick or #teamdanny debacle but maybe having more than just two tiers would be a good idea?

I remember watching anime episodes in 16 parts at 144p taking up 1/4 of the screen, reversed, with an overlay image pertaining to the anime taking up the rest of the screen in the early 2010s when I first got into anime lol

1:09:48 If by any chance Danny reads comments on old videos like this one, I HIGHLY recommend the manga Ajin. Not only is it criminally underrated, better than the anime (great voice cast, mid CG) and includes beautiful art, but the history behind the story is just as interesting as the writing itself. The original mangaka was trying to make it into a typical Shonen story, then handed the reins to someone else and it became more of a psychological thriller akin to Code Geass or Death Note. I binged all 83 chapters within the span of 3 hours, the story not only leaves you with so many cliffhangers but has compelling character writing and world building that leaves you excited for more. Obviously it would be harder to review or turn into content as a manga, but when it comes to personal enjoyment and making your brain buzz I can't recommend anything better.

French anime: Code Lyoko from back during toonami time, but also miraculous ladybug is now the current French anime go to. Love the voices in French and English. Also can’t believe Danny met Toph! Epic ❤ and yes, pirating anime is how our generation got the good shows. Crazy that I’ve lived long enough to see it become a yt freebie when it was used to share shows so long ago, in multiple parts (the gold mines being when you got all the parts of the show completely). They’d be in parts (or two halves if you were lucky).

Hearing the TGCF review just hurts because it's true that the book is amazing, the characters are fleshed out, Xie Lian is an amazing protagonist and not all that is seen in the donghua, especially since this is just the first season, and there will be 8 novels 6 are out right now p.s i only started reading the novels after watching Danny's reaction and now it's one of my favourite books ever i finished the first 4 books by the time he reacted to ep 2 also they do kiss in the books !!
