They make diapers for pet birds like cocktails, to make it cleaner they use stiffer fabrics, that way it keeps a dome shape and the poop just falls down instead of touching the birds bottom and making a mess. They have templates online, I don't think I explained it very well 😂

I am so surprised at how affectionate she is. She makes a really sweet sound. She totally looks like a dinosaur 🦖 from Jurassic park when she is running. Oh-no!! I think I need an Emu 😉. She is the luckiest Emu around for sure. Very well loved and cared for.

You know, I just can't stop seeing Bamboo as a baby dinosaur. It's her head-shape as much as anything-- most birds just don't have that domed a skull! She really does look like a very young dinosaur; I think it's also how thick and strong her legs are. I grew up with a lot of wild cranes and herons nearby at the beach and in marshland, and the proportions just aren't the same-- I think my brain's just reaching for something to match Bamboo's shape to, and 'dinosaur' is the only thing that really fits! Man, she's an adorably needy little thing, isn't she?

Such a sweet video🥰 I recommend a cordless rotary tool for the nails. Best if you get them used to the sound and process young and it’s a lot easier on both of you. Think you’re on the right path with the fabric - I know people use bathing suit materials for bird diapers.

I love your channel so much but I have a suggestion about the emu diaper: I think the sock design works the best because it is most comfortable. You could change it by making it have buttons underneath but still keep the same material all the way around. Or maybe make the straps out of stretchy fabric because I thing the other straps were constricting how Bamboo was running. That was the point where she started to walk instead of running. I don’t know if I am right, she might have just got tired after being playful all day! Love your channel so so so much and I hope you find a good and sustainable way to make the diapers!

It will be all she knows I worry about that a little.
