I'm wondering what they're rifling profile will be. If they stick to the 1:3 twist, aggressive rifling is not going to play nice with thin jacketed non bonded core match bullets. Start pushing velocity, and you'll have bullets flying apart in mid air like varmint bullets do. I saw one video title that said 500k RPMs. I didn't watch it, and not sure what velocity that was at, but yea... that's got to be borderline jacket failure. Especially if it's a thin jacket with heavy groves swaged in it. solid copper would be the way to go on supers I'd think.

Lmao at the low price they charge, why on earth would you complain about the chamber roughness? Just get a drill, an empty case and some polishing compound and lap it yourself, OR you could even buy a high end barrel and just swap it and still come out ahead in terms of pricing (which is how I did my 300 HAMR).

I put together a faxon 8.6,from a 308, just a barrel change, if ya have a 308, m5,mags bolt and receiver are all the same. Just get a faxon barrel and swap your 308 barrel . Good hunting round. Mine is very accurate 1 -3" twist I easily put a bullet in a bullet @ 100yds . Good luck. 👍

I really want a 400 legend but if I have to go buy a barrel, and then grind it down to the profile I want, and then build my own upper then I will not need BCA for anything.

I don't really care for the side charging uppers either. No dust cover and it's harder to find replacement parts they're not milspec. I have the 22lr side charging upper but wouldn't buy anything else but that in side charging. Also I wish they would add Quick Disconnect holes in their uppers for slings like Palmetto does!

Yes exactly! They already have the 300 Blackout barrel blanks, all they have to do is change the reamer and gas port location. And yeah I know Bill Wilson is all about the specialness of the slow twist rate, but even if they used the regular fast twist rate barrels, it would go a long ways to more people adopting 300HAMR which pairs great for handloaders with 300 blackout.

You can't make a 12 gauge upper, the cartridges are too big and too long to fit through the magwell of an AR-15. They might be able to fit through an AR-10,

BCA is fundamentally disappointed with the changes NJ and believes that all states and citizens of the United States have the right to bear arms as per the 2nd amendment. Due to legal restrictions and state laws BCA cannot currently ship directly to New Jersey. This is to ensure all firearms are compliant with state legislation as our system either allows for all items or none. We also will continue to support the effort for reduced legislation in all the states affected by these constraining legalities

It is up to us to get them into Jersey compliant status. Which I have done before installing it onto any lower. I have an FFL install, pin, and weld a muzzle brake of my choosing every time. The lowers are of my construction, which are Jersey compliant, A2 full rifle, and non adjustable stock. So there's that.
