Please do yourselves a favor and check out the split ep they did with Synestia, The Poetic Edda. It'll blow your mind, I guarantee it. The vocalist/guitarist, Blake Mullens, also writes, produces, mixes, and masters everything. Dude is ridiculously talented.

we'll for sure be checking that out

@@Bandecdotes This was my first experience with deathcore ever when it came out and I have been chasing this kind of deathcore since. I think the closest is probably the new stuff from Mental Cruelty. I would listen to Zwielicht + Symphony of a Dying Star. A bit different but entirely redefining of the genre is Enterprise Earth - Death: An Anthology. It has so many surprisng moments and my friend who doesn't really fw deathcore says it's one of the best albums he's heard in years. I also don't believe in "one hit wonders" so if I recommend an artist they have a killer backcatalog and both qualify. The most annoying thing in the world is when a band has one good song. Disembodied Tyrant is KIND of like that, but they're a brand new artist for the most part and haven't even dropped a full album.

The harmonics on the outro has given me chills every time I’ve listened to it.

Great! You gotta sit down and react to both EP's of The Poetic Edda & The Tower: Part One. Every song is absolutely fire. Would love to see that.

I had the same reaction as Tyler, just grateful this exists hah. Good job guys.

Great reaction. You know you’ve got a banger when seasoned metalheads jaws are wide open most of the song

Just finished the video --- watching phill and ty's mind being blown by the middle section just floored me, Im in the office laughing my ass off with tears running down my face and my coworkers are like wtf haha

You guys seriously have the best reactions. It really blows my mind that you dont have more followers. The only thing I would say is that the intros can really drag (I usually skip them) if they were tightened up it might help? but what do I know im just sitting at my office desk lol Thanks for the content bros!
@Bandecdotes19 күн бұрын
We really appreciate you! thank you so much for watching! in regards to the intros they can for sure sometimes go on for a while we've gotten a little better as we are learning to leave more stuff on the cutting room floor, but for us a lot of our favourite bits are the pre amble we have before watching the videos BUT its good to have someone like yourself give us constructive feedback to help us hit a nice balance. Thank you for keeping up with the channel and your kind words and support. it means a whole lot to us

You do what makes you happy and the content you like! Full support. Keep it up I love tuning in. More disembodied tyrant!!

You guys ever hear of vildhjärta? That last riff gave big thall influences in a sick way
@quandaledingle4659Ай бұрын
I agree. I’m a massive fan of everything thall and that outro riff is honestly one of the most brutally beautiful riffs I’ve ever heard. Which is the definition of thall in my opinion.
@DavidMiller-dt8mxАй бұрын
Agreed. I got into thall with Mirar's latest, then listened to some Vildhjarta, and HLB. Amazing stuff, and parts of this are very much in that vein.

Nice! Great call on checking out DT. I actually think I prefer Aberrant Waltz on the EP but both songs are super sick. Poetic Edda is cool too.

I've recently gotten into these two bands (it's a colab!), and I understand your reactions. I, too, was floored the first time I heard this. And the Poetic Edda. From what I've heard so far, they just seem to be from another world altogether!

pretty positive this EP was only DT, no synestia.

@papaswampp9155 Yeah, sorry, you're right. In my defense, they're both brand new to me, and it all sounds magnificent!
