i remember seeing a set like this but for the Singapore subway system. i never got it, and will always kick myself for it, now realizing how rare a model like that is- and even if it wasn't the highest quality. i just couldn't find any mention of it being motorized and assumed that it was just a shelf model.

Maybe it would benefit from the gearboxes being de-greased then fresh grease applied - they can get very sticky if left un-used. then adding a small amount of weight to improve traction and pick up - Halling are a small Austrian manufacturer specialising in trams and narrow gauge - they're not cheap - the Hamburg set is now 279euros - so really for prototypes that the mainstream are unlikely to make.
