The first year of our son’s life we had one goal-keeping all three of us alive. 😂. There were days when that seemed easier than other days. He’s 33 now, so that first year was a huge success.

I think I say this every week but I love the tiles you're using in your house. Just beautiful. Good to see Mauro feeling better and looking happier. I thought you were going to say you were cutting back to just 2 videos a month. You are more than 86k subs now, almost to that magic number everyone wants. That'll help a lot I think. But whatever you can do in the way of videos is so appreciated by all of us to watch every week.

I will be happy just to tag along as you go about your garden, take care of Santi, install a shelf, or rearrange your furniture, even if you publish less because of time restraints. It's the feeling of being in a different place where oranges seem to grow all year and you maneuver your water source around instead of winter slush and maneuvering around rush hour traffic that is the appeal for me. Don't worry about goals, the goal for the first few years of a new baby's life is to make sure they thrive and you survive. ❤

Don't forget that there are internal filters that you will have to keep clean. So don't forget to read the manual about where these are. We have had Dyson's for years but it was only recently that we discovered that a lot of performance or function issues are related to the cleanliness of the internal filters. Particularly as you have a lot of fine dust!!

I have a great book on how to streamline and make cleaning house easier. Wear a tool belt with pockets and loops. Your duster cloth (micro fiber or Swiffer - slightly damp) goes in one pocket, cleaning rags (or paper towels) in another, Attach a spray bottle of glass cleaner of your choice on a loop at one side, then hang a spray bottle of your favorite every surface cleaner (I make my own from vinegar, dish soap and lemon rinds).Start in one corner of the room and clean what's in front of you from up high down the floor, dusting, wiping strains, cleaning shiny surfaces, etc. Then step sideways and do the next bit. Do the center of the room last. Then sweep and mop. Keep a box or other place at the bottom and top of the stairs and toss things in there that need to be moved up or down, and move them all at once so you are having to make multiple trips when you are tidying up.

I love your tile work and your goals however you plan them, y’all have accomplished so much and I’m proud of you ❤. Follow through with your cleaning up and discarding of what is not needed, it will fulfill your goals and inspire y’all to keep on keeping on to the next area, breaking the clean up into small areas that are completely cleared and cleaned will be your reward and peace of mind and giving y’all a clean canvas for your beautiful creations to be possible. The goal being to clean and create 🎉. Santiago is so precious and growing up fast, soon walking among your beautiful creations 😂, how cute that’s going to be ❤. Much love to all, be well and safe.

I use a similar Task Goal method. I have a list of general task themes for the year. Then, each week I choose a theme and chart a day to day weekly chore list (pertsining to that theme only) separately on a clipboard. Every morning while having coffee, I review the weekly To Do list and make adjustments accordingly, because LIFE HAPPENS. I get a big smile whenever I check off a yearly theme.💪🏼

Scissors, 2 pair outside for plants, twine etc. I keep them sharpened. 1 pair for opening food packages etc in the kitchen. I pair of scissors only for sewing, and a tiny pair for crochet, knitting, finishing work on my sewing. Each pair have a different size, handle, sharpness. Twine inside, outside to tie up plants etc, or to tie parcels, wrapping foods, herbs. Duplicate doesn't always mean wasteful. I crochet washing cloths for inside and out. 100% cotton. So if you two find 200 pencil pieces, you know someone did that. 😂😂

The LR tile looks amazing! Well Done. Probably Job One is to baby proof the house; electric plugs, wires etc. As soon as Santi starts crawling, he will be all over. My son climbed out of his crib and onto a chair and on to the kitchen counter in literally 2 minutes (unbeknownst to me in the next room because I thought he was asleep) and he was turning on the cooker knobs while crawling across the stove. Saved in the nick of time, but things can happen fast even before they walk. Family is #1.

Hello Harriet, I love watching your channel regardless of its content. I would say the gardening would comprise of any different projects. I take my hat off both of you for what you're doing in homesteading in all types of conditions. I hope Mario's eye is getting better. Using the dyson is better than sweeping so dust is not a friend to anyone. Sounds like you have a great plan. Sometimes a small change is great. A tool belt that holds all necessary tools might be handy? Sometimes completing so,e smaller jobs gives jut as much satisfaction as larger projects.

I know what you mean about putting several helpful things all around. I do the same. It is very handy and cuts down on going from room to room, trying to find pens, scissors, post it notes to myself, etc. I am always happy to find your updates and to see how well you all are doing. Baby boy is growing so fast and is adorable. Love you all! Janice from Arkansas USA

I really appreciate watching your videos and all the projects you do. Great job! In 2022 we bought an old house in Greece and 3 acres of agricultural land a couple of miles from the house. Our house is cob and stone and it's 100 years old. We also have a lovely tiny cottage, some outbuildings and 2 barns, all cob, in our courtyard garden. It wasn't lived in for 20 years, and before that, it hadn't been well maintained. We've stayed there a good few times and got some work started, but we're about to move out there full time. I've got so much inspiration from watching your renovations, especially that " can- do" attitude. I need some of that! Maybe one day I'll find time to start our own channel on here.... have a good year, all the best.

Making life / chores easier should be in the top 5 of a goals list. Building projects shouldn't become chores. In other words, think about the chores you create for yourself, often needlessly. Do you really want to create the chore of painting something every 3 years? No, there's probably a finish that doesn't create more chores. This is why planning can be so important.

It is very time intensive all 3 aspects of your lives right now. New bub, reno and the channel. Could you ask for vollies to help with the chores or even filming? Look at Project Kamps' model they are run by vollies and sponsorships. Their Patreon/memberships would keep them going too. You have a great channel, it is really inspiring. Maybe cut yourselves some slack for the the year and see where it takes you. Sponsorships would make a huge difference for you financially. Looking forward to watching you grow and expand your abundance🙂
