One thing people have pointed out is that in part 1 of the sword & shield DLC, when you go and change your bike color, you can choose from “Sparkling White” and “Glistening Black” Now if we do indeed get Black & White remakes, and those are the titles of the games, then that would be amazing!

My Idea I can see for the Game as a Similar Combination Story of Unova and Paldea. A Reformed Team composed of Old Plasma and Rocket Grunts with Newer Admins, Executives, and a Brand-New Leader. Professor Juniper gives you your Starter Pokemon(Game is Normal until after you beat the First Gym). You're Called by Juniper by the arrival of Elm from the Johto Region and given one of the Johto Starters. Then Chaos ensues with the Evil Team Taking Both Professors in order for the Game's Plot to unfurl. (I feel as if I should decide to continue this Idea)

No, so the thing with the digital clock 8 is that the version with the greyed out parts, you can add 2 (the dots) in 2 different ways to the 3 horizontal stripes to make either 5 or 2 on the digital clock.

I think I might have worked out the two eights...Both pics have a Black and White background which means it's a new Black and White game. However, when you look at the pic of the 8 in the white background, there are 3 shapes colour in black and 4 are coloured in a grey/white colour. If you do 4+3 you get 7, now what generations are Johoto and Unova? Gen 2 and Gen 5, what does 2+5 make? 7! This tells me the new main line Pokemon games are indeed some kind of mix of Gen 5 and 2.

In terms of the riddle, you could also assume the two dots are a reference to filling in two more of the greyed out spots in the second picture. Like, for example, You could fill in two the blank spots to make 5, you could fill in two the blank spots to make 2 or you could even make a 6 or 3 as well. I’ve always been hoping for a Gen 6 remake at some point, but because the photos are also in black, white and grey, I totally think it’ll be a Gen 5 game of some kind, which I’d also be excited for!

I think The clock riddle is that if you put a 2 and five on top of eachother then youd fil the whole thing but the 3 horizontal segments in the middle would be covered twice which is why they’re darker

It's odd how in the Teal Mask DLC there were a lot of Johto references and in Blueberry Academy there was a lot of Unova references. If Pokemon keeps with the pattern they've been doing then we would be getting a Johto game this generation and a Unova remake next generation. It's the remake generations that give the legendarys new forms like Primal Reversion and Origin Form.

Khu's digital clock riddle is potentially straightforward. Place a digital 2 on a digital 5, you get Khu's second image, with the dark horizontal bars (because they appear twice). The implication is completely unknown, though.

Kitikami was an older style village with characters wearing traditional looking robes. A bit reminiscent of the johto games. And it featured a good amount of 2nd gen Pokémon. Also the village and robes were also similar to jubilife village from legends arceus. So hopefully new legends games. Never played black and white but from what I’ve heard it was a little more modern day based and a few futuristic touches. A little like indigo disk/ blueberry academy. Plus indigo disk featured quite a few 5th gen Pokémon. So maybe a remake or future version of a legends game? Just some theories

So I’ve been thinking a lot about what’s coming next for Pokemon the past couple weeks. Firstly, I think we’re going to get something Unova based in the very near future. Probably a Black and White 3 type of game, or a game set in the future in Unova. The Johto rumors are also pretty interesting to me, and I know we’ve gone a while without visiting that region also. Love both of these regions to death, so I’m of course very excited for anything relating to either of these regions. Then, we have Gen 10. Personally, I’m sold on the Netherlands. It definitely feels like a very pokemon-ish place, a place that would fit into the world of pokemon so neatly. I think the windmills and sunflora in Scarlet and Violet , the art on the walls and everywhere in general, and the starry night looking picture in one of the games (which game, I can’t remember now) have all been hints towards the Netherlands. I think art will be the general theme of the region just like beauty was for Kalos and unity through diversity was for Unova. Now I want to talk for a minute about what I think is a very big picture kind of thing for all the regions and for all the gens til now. In Japanese culture, seasons are a huge thing as far as I’m aware. The first four regions, based off of parts of Japan, respectively represented spring (Kanto), fall, (Johto), summer (Hoenn), and winter (Sinnoh). Then we had a reset with Unova. Unova was the first time we got to see all four seasons and the first time you could almost say the region didn’t line up nicely with one particular season. That being said, I think Unova still fits for spring. It was a new beginning for pokemon, a new part of the same cycle I believe. Kalos then would be fall, Alola would be summer, and Galar would be winter. Another way of looking at this is that so far, pokemon has gone from temperate region to temperate region to tropical region to cold region, and repeated this four-region cycle two full times now, and we’re in the third cycle. The Paldea region thus would represent spring, and I think this really fits. It’s got parts that represent the different seasons just like many of the regions have had, but it ultimately overall represents that part of the year which is spring, a time of new beginnings and time of possibility, birth, and rebirth. I think the next region will align with fall. I think the Netherlands lines up nicely with this. I know the Netherlands also brings to mind images of tons of flowers, and flowers are most typically associated with spring, but I think it still fits nicely. I think the Gen 11 region will be tropical or hot. Maybe India, Egypt, or Australia. Would love Mexico or Brazil as well. I think Gen 12 will be cold again. Maybe Scandinavia or Canada or something like that. Not going to lie, sometimes I’m very surprised we haven’t been to certain regions yet, such as Italy and Greece. I think it’s possible that in future regions we’ll start to see multiple countries represented in the same pokemon region, just like Spain and Portugal were put together for Paldea and Galar had England, Scotland, arguably in a way it represented all of the British Isles (sorry Ireland, I know you’re very separate and I hope I’m not offending anyone too much by saying all of this, I respect your culture and your sovereignty very much too…). I’d like to talk about one more thing tied to pokemon’s plans for every region. Not only do I feel like each region fits into the overall pattern of spring, fall, summer, winter, but, I think each region also fits into a distinct pattern that relates to the mythology and box legendaries. I know, Kanto’s box art featured the first trio starter pokemon final stages. Hear me out though. I think the cycle of regional box legendaries goes like this: 1st region in a four region cycle is pokemon or legendaries representing the past and the future. Think Reshiram and Zekrom, and Miraidon and Koraidon. 2nd region in a four region cycle represents birth and death or life and death. Think Ho-oh and Lugia, Xerneas and Yveltal. 3rd region in a four region cycle represents something celestial or tied to our celestial body (Earth). Think Groudon and Kyogre representing the endless struggle and/ or relationship between land and the sea, or think Lunala and Solgaleo representing the sun and the moon, or night and day, something very much tied to our planet and its relationship to other nearby celestial bodies which shapes life on our world. 4th region in a four region cycle represents something ethereal and cosmic in a way. Think Dialga and Palkia representing time and space or Zacian and Zamazenta representing the dichotomy between being an offensive or a defensive type of warrior, which in a way also represents the dichotomy between masculine and feminine, between being extroverted and action based or introverted and more reflective and feelings based. I think the current four region cycle we’re in will very much continue in this pattern. I think the next region we visit will represent fall, will have box legendaries representing something that somehow aligns with the concepts of life and death, will be a temperate region overall, will definitely have hints and ties to other regions we’ve already been to, and that when it’s all revealed, we’ll all go ohhh, yeah I see how that was hinted at by this and that from not only the previous region we went to (Paldea) but also regions going all the way back maybe as far as Kalos (the previous fall seasonal region) or Johto (the fall region before it). I know my theory might seem redundant and not speak to the huge diversity of sub-climates and biomes within each region that we’ve been to, but at the end of the day, pokemon regions have always, right from the very beginning, had overtones and undertones as far as what they represent and what they might be tied to. They’ve always had a clear regional climate and then parts within them which are different, so that each region has some deserts or some colder places where we might not necessarily expect them to be, simply for the sake of the region allowing for a bit of climate variance and different pokemon. I think eventually, we will **definitely** get regions based upon Italy, Greece, India, China, Egypt, Australia, Scandinavia, and South America (Brazil?). I think Italy and Greece will probably be in the same pokemon region. I think India will get its own, or maybe it will have parts of it that reflect Pakistan or parts of the Middle East. Excited for that. I think China will get its own, or maybe it’ll have a part of it that reflects Vietnam or Thailand or Taiwan. I think Egypt will probably get its own region, or will have parts of it that reflect other parts of Africa or maybe even parts of the Middle East. I think Australia will likely get its own or will have parts of it that also reflect New Zealand or Indonesia or the Philippines or maybe even Samoa a little bit. I think a Canada region would maybe include just a bit of Alaska or Greenland, maybe. I think a Scandinavian region would include Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and Norway, maybe also Iceland and Greenland? I think a South America based region would probably be centered around Brazil and Brazilian culture and history, but might also include a bit of Argentina, Chile, Peru, or other South American countries (we love all of you!). I think a Mexico based region would probably include parts of it that reflect Central America or the Caribbean. I’m born and raised in Southern California, and nothing would make me happier than to see a region based off of the Western US, including California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Montana, Idaho, Colorado, Wyoming, the Dakotas, maybe even parts of Oklahoma and Texas. Just a bunch of cowboy towns and big cities like LA, San Francisco, Portland, Las Vegas, all the great cities of the Western US and all the amazing nature. Imagine the Grand Canyon in a pokemon region that also has Las Vegas. That would be so dope. In short, there are so, so many great possibilities still ahead for the future of pokemon and pokemon regions. I can’t wait to see them all. I know everyone else who’s a pokemon fan also can’t wait to see these. I’m positive the pokemon company has plans or ideas floating around somewhere for all of the places I’ve just talked about. What are your thoughts on it? Are my theories pretty well thought out, or am I just pulling random things together? Would love to hear your thoughts, fellow pokemon fans. :) Oh, one last thing! I think the next region (based off of the Netherlands) will possibly also include influences or parts of it that reflect Belgium, Luxembourg, and Germany, maybe just the western part of Germany, we’ll have to wait and see… :)

Fallowing the trend of generation numbers * 2 = remake then Generations 10, 12, 14, 16, and 18 will include remakes of generations 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 Gen 1 got originally remade in Gen 3 because Gen 2 was compatible with the original gen 1 while Gen 3 wasn’t, Gen 2 got remade in gen 4, gen 3 got remade in gen 6, and gen 4 got remade in gen 8

The way Khu's teaser is setup i actually considered a multi regional mmo style game. A legends game set far into the future with Johto, Kanto, and Unova collide from tectonic shifting. On our own Earth Japan and North America are lined up for a potential collision in the very far future. And what's even cooler to consider is that way back the Americas and Asia used to be one land for a long time until the land bridge between Alaska and Russia faded away. I would be totally stoked if we got to see the world of Pokémon before the continents spread apart and the potential new land when they collide in the opposite direction, and even meet the AI professors again in the timelines they threw themselves in.

I don’t like let’s go style games, I’d prefer a Hgss style gen 5 remake with another region and a National dex, and make johto a legends style game. Bc the backstory for johto is already there, seeing the beasts before they were reborn and changed to entei raikou and suicune. The Luigi’s and ho-oh story lines. I NEED them to release the old games (at least some) on the switch. Ive been considering buying a 3ds but doing all of that is so expensive, and emulating on the computer takes some of the fun out of it. They could literally sell them for 30-50 bucks each and I would buy them. I 'm all for remakes but they take a lot of time, would be fun to have something to play until the new game is released.

I have a theory about the next game that I haven't heard anyone talk about. Koo said Drayton's lore is a spoiler for the next game after SV and I've been seeing rumors lately centered around a fused gen 2 and gen 5 game. What if it is a legends style game based off of the dragon tamer clans. Hassel mentions them multiple times during his story arc. Also when you invite him to the blueberry academy club room he has a special interaction with Drayton and mentions the dragon clans they are a part of. Also the pic Koo posted of the maps of Kanto, Johto, Unova, and Paldea have something to do with this theory too. To my knowledge they are the only regions that have significant characters that are associated with a dragon clan. Lance in Kanto, Clair in Johto, Drayden's family in Unova, and Hassel in Paldea. Also the female dragon tamer trainer in paldea has a very similar hairstyle to Clair. There are also significant dragon themed areas in both Johto and Unova. The Blackthorn dragon's den in Johto and the Dragonspiral tower in Unova. Also you could start in Opelucid City in Unova and your starters would be Treeko, Charmander, and Totodile with their final evos all getting new forms with the dragon type added to their primary types. Plus this is the year of the dragon. I've had this idea for awhile now and I think it has a shot at being a possibility. I guess we will know in a few days.

I can’t see them doing let’s go again with different starters, cuz they used Pikachu and Eevee were the Starters for Pokemon Yellow. Johto doesn’t have an alternate set of starters. That aside, no way they use a Baby form Pokemon as the starter. If we get a Johto Let’s Go, it’ll probably just have the regular starters.

I see a tease, but I really feel like we are getting a mystery dungeon game more than anything. I want a black and white sequel or a remakes with the respective sequels with two games in one. Legends celebi is one I also want. I feel like Pokemon delving into the past is great and it feels fresh plus johto and its apricot balls makes sense for another legends game. Because going further into the past you need a new method of acquiring Pokemon and becoming friends since the balls didn't exist that long ago as far as I know in Pokemon lore.

Tbh, Johto and Unova doesn't have any gimmicks like Mega Evolution, etc. Even their starters doesn't have any special recognition out of all of them, except maybe for Typhlosion and Samurott, who both have Hisuian forms. I'm looking forward to them if that proves to be true!

The 8 also looks like if you had a digital 5 and 2 that overlaid each other it would show 8. Also the top, middle, and bottom lines would be the only overlapping ones which would explain why those 3 lines are darker. That could mean that 5 and 2 make 8 in this since

1:55 this could be a long shot, but What if... -The Black & White = Unova -The 8 represents Gen 8 (The Generation with the first Legends Game) - And the digital clock represents it'll take place in the Future/Alternate Future rather than the past.

Legends was my favorite Pokemon game ever. I liked the mechanics of it so much more than anything else on the switch especially. Really hoping for another legends game.

If you actually would read comments you would have known what the two dots mean. The 2 dots each represent a decade. With soccer if you win 10 championships, you get a star on your shirt. Each dot represents a decade. In 1996 the first pokemon game was released so now in 2024 thats 28 years ago. The colours are black and white which is a hint that suggests we get pokemon white and black. Use your own brain for once instead of copying stuff.

Let's Go Wooper/Togepi is something that doesn't make sense, cause it seems that it's going off the premise of the starters not evolving like in Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee. But what people really seem to forget or don't acknowledge is that Pikachu/Eevee are basically remakes of Yellow, where Pikachu didn't evolve and straight up refused to (not to mention the inclusion of Jessie and James who were also in Yellow). There's no reason for another Let's Go game to NOT have the starters evolve, and if they were to go that route, why Wooper and Togepi?

i thought they would maybe make black and white 3 one game just like legends arceus because the whole idea is that in 3, all 3 legendaries fuse together and become the original dragon so like 2 games wouldn't really make sense. so yeah could be like just 1 game

I 'm more then ok with Black & White remakes. The games are awesome. Great region fun diversity of new and returning Pokémon. Tbh idk about the Legends style or Let's Go style game coming from ILCA in coop(I guess is the right word) with Game Freak. I think that's fine? Haven't played Legends Arceus myself. (as of yet might do it still. Was hyped for it but when it released I was like, meh maybe another time 😆). Seen videos and obviously it's a solid game. Maybe I would enjoy a normal styled game as a possible ending for the Switch 1, Pokémon games. Oh and also no Chibi style preferably. Don't hate the Chibi, just not the biggest fan. With normal I mean like SWSH or SV but again, coming from ILCA not too sure. And I expect something like BDSP graphics but probably enhanced since technology goes on as well, so yeah for sure curious and can't wait to watch it tomorrow. Hopefully it's good length as well, revealing quite some stuff within.

Lets go Pikachu and Eevee has boosted stats.... and Togepi can be modded to be viable. Togepi was the mascot Pkmn of Silver. Wooper however I dont know.

I’ll be surprised if they make a “legends celebi” game. I don’t think there’s enough lore for a Johto game. It would make more sense for a let’s go type game, with both johto and Kanto, it would not only be a good follow up but a much bigger game. After 4, Gen 5 has the most lore and the original Tao dragon would be a massively missed opportunity if they didn’t look into that. I’m torn between this and a decent remake, or even a 3rd installment. There’s just so many things they can do with Unova because it was done so well to begin with.

With the introduction to baby pokemon in this generation i think lets go togepi and lets go azurill would be a better fit for the lets go remakes, and they can only evolve once you beat the 3rd gym since both require very high friendship to evolve, just a theory but it seems a bit more streamline in my eyes that way

Honestly, I would prefer if we have something like Johto remake named Let's go Umbreon and Espeon. Think about it, Gold and Silver are colors. Gold is a color that could symbolise the heat, like a sun. Silver is a cold color, like the moon. For both games, you start with Eevee, but the eevee is lock to evolve into Espeon, the gold version, and Umbreon, for the silver version.

Tbh the only things that I didn’t like about let’s go was the lack of wild battles and the candy system… Other than that the game was good, great art style and one of the if not THE best implementation of following pokemon
