Question how good they can hold a hail storm? 🤔

The tempered glass on the surface is typically strong enough that most hailstorms will not damage your panels. They're made of good stuff and come with a 25 year warranty so that if you do get the hailstorm of all hailstorms, you don't need to worry.

Would you consider installing with an integrated system like GSE?

The in-roof systems heat up more than the on roof systems, meaning that the efficiency of the panels is slightly lower. We've decided for now to just stick with on roof systems.

As an installer, I really hope you will paint the roof area with solar reflective paint to capitalize on the bifacial technology. Otherwise, you're unintentionally upselling while under engineering.

We don't paint the roof for a reason... The panels are lab tested for different surfaces and whilst light roofer surfaces do provide marginally more rear generation, the panel still performs well on standard tile or slate. The panel doesn't require direct light to function, the objective is to allow ambient light to transit around the panel. Hope this explains it a little better!

@@Heatable I don't mean to come across as argumentative. We install bi-facial panels in all our commercial farm projects. The difference in generation isn't "marginal". Real world measurements show a 18+% increase in generation with white stones/ pebbles. On a roof, an end user can expect 7-11%. Don't take my word for it - there are several studies published about this unique attribute of the technology. Given the panels are right for the job, I'm surprised you won't offer consumers the option of white reflective paint between the rails. It makes no sense not to given the simplicity of the task vs. the benefit?
