The throwdowns are my favorite older videos and really promoted crossfit and the athletes. You guys mentioned the issue and its the problem. Everyone has their own thing now. But we need those own sponsors and own things to come together every once in a while to really promote crossfit.

Y'all. I am so not a hunter. I actually used to be anti-hunting, until a friend opened my mind many years ago. Also, I'm a wimp who can't even watch them take my blood at the doctor, let alone get elbow deep in an actual dead animal. Just bring it to me after it's cooked. But even though hunting ain't my thing, I love hearing Rich's hunting stories. The way he describes it, like it's him and the animal are trying to outsmart each other in this literal life or death chess match. The animal has the home turf advantage, and Rich is just out there trying to get him to slip up. And so far, the bull is winning. . .

As far as the Exodus 1 reference goes, If the midwives said they wouldn't kill the first born sons because they feared the Lord more than pharaoh. I would say they are Hebrew midwives. In the Egyptian culture, Pharaohs were considered gods. So for the Egyptian midwives to fear God who is outside of their culture more than they feared pharaoh, it wouldn't be logical. I'd love to hear how other folks interpret this section of Exodus 1. Also, love Tim Mackie from the Bible Project.
