The 3 movies starring Kong have been the highest grossing and the most liked monsterverse movies, Kong brings in the money and audiences more than Godzilla ever has or ever will, you can like Godzilla more but Kong is more popular for a reason, not to mention he will actually be a pretty big part of the story and interact with the characters which is much more interesting than anything Godzilla did in s1.

He started the monsterverse and he can carry it on his own if he had to, the writers are just sh!t imo, more focused on bs than making a good movie. Kong and Godzilla are the only reason any of us watch, without BOTH of them, we wouldn't have the verse. Godzilla is solidified forever and so is Kong, it's like Yin and Yang basically, can't have one without the other

For me, it's always Godzilla. When I was a child, I used to sit and watch the black and white movies with my dad. I loved them. I have continued to love Godzilla throughout my whole life, and it means so much more to me now as my dad has dementia and doesn't remember these things anymore. I would like to see a Godzilla movie that is all about him. For these recent projects, I'm looking forward to "Titan Chasers". I like this kind of mobile game and will be downloading it when it comes out... I wish the next installment of the Godzilla franchise was happening sooner, and the theme park looks AMAZING!!!!!

Regarding the Skull Island series, Powerhouse Animation seems to be somewhat secretive about the development and production of their shows. Blood of Zeus season 1 came out in 2020 and season 2 only recently came out this year and there was barely any updates prior to its release. Skull Island barely had any news or updates between its announcement and release, so it wouldn't surprise me if something similar happens with a potential second season.

There's the another monsterverse animated series already complete and made/directed by one of the actors of king of the monsters 2019, O'Shea Jackson Jr. And it's called Monarch: G-Team It's currently not released yet due to licensing and negotiation issues at the moment

I Imagine that in the Future we could get: A TV Show set During the Titans Mass Awakening in KOTM, with each episode being different from each other, featturing new Characters, and how each Titan woke up, something similar to Black Mirror and Twilight Zone. Monarch: G-Team, an anime series created by KOTM actor O'Shea Jackson Jr and Chris Mirjahangir from Toho Kingdom, set after KOTM following O'Shea's character leading a new Group of G-Team into many new Missions against Titans. A HBO Monsterverse Show that is basically Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D but Monarch, going way deeper into the lore of this Universe, showing more Human-like elements, and having things that the Films couldn't add, having a run for at least 8 or 9 Seasons. 4 New Movies for the next decade, the First being an Monster Island solo film (not the one from Monarch LOM), with elements of 2005s King Kong, and Jurassic Park. The Second film being a Kong Solo Film, where he leads his new Family of Great Apes in the Hollow Earth! The Third is a Godzilla Solo Film, way more darker, crazier and Brutal. And finally, a Monarch Solo film, honestly i think Monarch deserves a film in my Opinion, having the same cast from the HBO Series. And Finally, the long awaited Godzilla: B.C, but instead of a film, it would be a Documentary film similar to Walking with Dinosaurs, showing up the whole Lore before the Films, even the War between the Godzillas and the Great Apes! Just by imagining this, it makes me feel a lot more Exiting!

How elaborate can a kaiju fight be in a novel? You lose a lot of the excitement, having to read it instead of seeing it happen, and that's coming from a big reader. It's like closing your eyes and imagining the fight, instead of watching it on a big screen.

But Kong has the fucking Skull Island, Netflix anime series that came out last year (season 2 is planned btw), Kong is getting his own video game (even though it has nothing to do with Kong), Monarch Legacy of Monsters season 2 is highly focused on Kong than Godzilla in Monarch Legacy of Monsters season 1, both GvK AND GxK is both Kong focused films, almost as if they’re all his own solo films (even though they aren’t but they feel like solo films for him) I legitimately don’t know what there is left for Kong anymore, Kong has lived his whole ENTIRE life in Skull Island, all alone with nobody to take care of him. In GxK Kong has finally found his species once again, killed Skar King who was a serious threat to Kong and his species, alongside with Shimo (debatably the strongest titan in the MonsterVerse yet), has Suko as his adopted son, and has Shimo as a PET. What does Godzilla have? Barely anything, all Godzilla has is his new home, the Roman Colosseum. And he also has Mothra as his only guide. We barely even acknowledged Godzilla’s whole backstory, especially in the comics and KOTM. Majority of Kong’s backstory have been written, for example Skull Island rise of Kong, GvK, Kingdom Kong, and GxK.
