Ayton just toured the practice facitlity in POR and literally was saying how he felt like a rookie again. The change of scenery and perspective should benefit him well. Playing with 19,20, and 24 y/o star players should be relatable to him age-wise.

@maxmeier5329 ай бұрын
portland should sign Jrue on a generous 4 year deal, have him mentor the young guys. He has chops, has a chip. Every young team needs a vet. And he's a 6'6 established PG, above average defender, that's are rare breed right now. The save so much money on getting rid of Dame's contract, Ayton's contract is much less. They can afford to keep Jrue. And they can still trade him 2 years from now. That being said, I am pretty sure he's going to be traded to Miami in a sign and trade. I don’t understand why people are already writing off the young Blazers upside… the rebuild quite literally hasn’t even played a single minute in the NBA yet… this team has at least a year or two of bottoming out and acquiring one or two top 5 draft picks who should be wings or forwards Jerami Grant and Brogdon could both be very easily flipped to a contender at the deadline for another unprotected first each adding the already growing bundle of picks the Blazers possess… The Bucks are very old and their first and those swaps could prove to be incredibly valuable once Scoot and Shaedon start to enter their prime and the team begins to compete for playoff seeding

It'd be hilarious if Portland is calling Miami now to trade Jrue 🤣🤣🤣
@maxmeier5329 ай бұрын
Jrue has 1 year left on his contract so it's pretty much his own call, where he wants to go. Because if he doesnt agree to a sign and trade (which he will only do if he likes the offer both in term of money and destination), he'll just go do whatever for 1 year and then get a final big contract when he's 34 (and still one of the best 5 PG in the league). And I very much believe that Jrue will seriously consider to go to Miami. Professional organisation, good coach, aspirational young team with Jimmy and they are in desperate need of a good and versatile PG. At 6'6, considering he's a PG, he even adds size to an small team. Miami will keep Jimmy and Bam.
@rileymcphee94299 ай бұрын
@maxmeier532 I agree with everything you just said, I just think it'd be funny if (after everything that happened with Dame) Portland called them up with a big grin on their faces asking what they want for Jrue.
