Ayton just toured the practice facitlity in POR and literally was saying how he felt like a rookie again. The change of scenery and perspective should benefit him well. Playing with 19,20, and 24 y/o star players should be relatable to him age-wise.

@@vvskevdefensively more impressive than Brooklyn? Simons is a horrible defender, Ayton is an average defensive center, we haven’t seen Scoot yet but rookie guards are very unlikely to be above average, Grant is a good wing defender and we don’t know the 5th starter yet? Brooklyn have a DPOY candidate 5 man in Claxton, elite wing defender in Mikal bridges, good wing defenders in DFS and Royce O’Neal and a healthy Ben Simmons is another DPOY candidate. They also signed Dennis Smith JR, who despite his offensive struggles at times looked unreal as a point of attack defender for Charlotte last year

portland should sign Jrue on a generous 4 year deal, have him mentor the young guys. He has chops, has a chip. Every young team needs a vet. And he's a 6'6 established PG, above average defender, that's are rare breed right now. The save so much money on getting rid of Dame's contract, Ayton's contract is much less. They can afford to keep Jrue. And they can still trade him 2 years from now. That being said, I am pretty sure he's going to be traded to Miami in a sign and trade. Portland gets Lowry and Robinson/Hierro, and a pick.

maybe I’m just biased against small guard duos ala steph Poole, darius Donovan, it’s just not the ideal build for modern nba basketball, so I think the blazers will eventually need to pick a guard to build around, if scoot is who they say he is it should be him really, I’d like to see them trade anfernee for a more versatile player ideally a wing, og, or maybe a guy we don’t know about yet who fits the timeline, for now they should be really fun and shouldn’t rush the process, the offense is gonna be nuts

I don’t understand why people are already writing off the young Blazers upside… the rebuild quite literally hasn’t even played a single minute in the NBA yet… this team has at least a year or two of bottoming out and acquiring one or two top 5 draft picks who should be wings or forwards Jerami Grant and Brogdon could both be very easily flipped to a contender at the deadline for another unprotected first each adding the already growing bundle of picks the Blazers possess… The Bucks are very old and their first and those swaps could prove to be incredibly valuable once Scoot and Shaedon start to enter their prime and the team begins to compete for playoff seeding

Jrue has 1 year left on his contract so it's pretty much his own call, where he wants to go. Because if he doesnt agree to a sign and trade (which he will only do if he likes the offer both in term of money and destination), he'll just go do whatever for 1 year and then get a final big contract when he's 34 (and still one of the best 5 PG in the league). And I very much believe that Jrue will seriously consider to go to Miami. Professional organisation, good coach, aspirational young team with Jimmy and they are in desperate need of a good and versatile PG. At 6'6, considering he's a PG, he even adds size to an small team. Miami will keep Jimmy and Bam.

imo blazers dont have a single future superstar on their team. What 6'2 gaurd that cant shoot from 3 consistently lead their team to the finals? simons cant play d. Sharpe has no handles and is small as a sf. Ayton hopefully can turn around his career like wiggins but hes still a bad defender with limited offensive upside.

Sharpe's primary position is shoting guard. Rarely plays SF

No. I doubt this group develops faster than the Thunder and they still haven't made the playoffs with their current core.

Sharpe is without question going to be the blazers #1 scoring option dude Why does it always take you so long to figure teams/players out? You constantly make these videos predicting how teams will develop or players will develop and all they do is show how little you know about the details of teams around the league

So we traded Dame time for crappy draft picks and Ayton A's blazers fan we're not winning anything until team sold because Joe Cronin is garbage GM and Jody Allan did not want spend she want to run Blazers like Seahawks and they Made playoffs then lost terribly This front office is cheap
