Graham stated that he did not enjoy making those tts memes. It has gotten to the point he didn’t want to hear that tts voice anymore. Also I don’t think Cowbelly has gotten corporate and soulless, it’s just so expensive to produce a relatively short amount of entertainment. These memes that were being posted were made by individual creators, and they were paid a lot more than Cowbelly made back. Cowbelly has only gained about 1/8 of the money they put in the memes.

The evolution of this channel is very personal, interesting, and sad, they started as one of the many, annoying, irritating, dime-a-trillion text to speech meme you tubers, I was so annoyed that they wouldn’t get out of my recommended list. But they ended up becoming one of my favorite subscriptions on KZbin after the original memes started rolling in. They made funny content, and while made by other people, not stolen, it was genuinely impressive, and to see only negative things come from KZbin, all the unfair copyright enforcement, it’s just sad. All the people who yell and throw tantrums about ‘tHe tEXt tO spEeCH coNteNt beINg bETteR.’ It’s so extremely sad what this channel has been put through. I hope things can turn around, this channel is one of my favorites. Good Luck!

@@dARkIkO cowbelly started making a game called cowhop with the help of aljon at harambert studios, there was a discord server for the development of the game and it ended up being really fun. Cowbelly later just said "nah fuck you" just as another update was going to release. The game had only been out for 2 weeks at that point and it was cancelled. The server then went on a downwards spiral of a shit ton of rebrands and over-strict staff members, devolving into a shell of its former self. All because of that one domino struck by cowbelly
