Hey Vimoh, I also felt that you are explaining and debating about the same thing over and over again. Maybe the people who come are not your regular viewers. Please don't lose hope and don't cancel this weekly live debate streams. One solution is that either you can pre-decide about topic (topics), or start a community poll on which topic viewers want to listen the debate next weekend.

Hey Vimoh, here's an idea. I feel like you have a good understanding on psychological or sociological concepts. How about you pick up one of those and explain them. Kinda like John Oliver! After the explanation you can have callers asking more clarification about those concepts.

Hey Vimoh, I recently got into a debate with my cousin who partially supports reservations saying that rich people take advantage of it, rich st sc obc people, when the poor folk are not given the opportunity. So the system should be made that any st sc OBC family should get reservations for some 3 generations so that after they earn significant wealth or reputation they can live like others without reservation. Please let me know how to respond to this. Thanks.

I think reading superchat over chats is similar to prioritising merit over talent. Sometimes not so good superchats get prioritised over better comments by people without superchats. I think there could be a quota for superchats vs non superchats

The simple solution is to keep the livestream weekly and prioritising caller's with interesting and newer topics rather than the same caller's with the same monotonous topics again and again. One solution could be to prioritise people from different backgrounds to bring more diversity in the livestream. For example, people identifying as women could be prioritised so that we can get to know their opinions and all as well. Also the same person could be avoided for the next week so that newer people get opportunities. Also I think the debates can be more organised. Instead of people talking over each other, there could be alternate three minutes of uninterrupted speaking from either side and each debate could be 12 mins or 18 mins like that. This way the debates will be less pointless.

Thanks for the response to veganism. But my question is, why is there the assumption that we are "anthropomorphising" animals? We don't "europeanise" blacks when we say that blacks feel pain the same way as whites. Similarly, we don't anthropomorphise animals when we say they feel pain like humans. My point is, we need to stop being tribal and stop thinking in us Vs them. Otherwise there can't be progress. In the past, blacks, dalits were considered as "them". The good thing is that these people are now brought into the bigger family. However, animals are still considered as "them". I think this is a very tribal thing. Just because animals are different from us doesn't mean they don't feel pain. Or that they don't deserve a nice life. Remember, privileged people in the past said that dalits deserve worse life than upper caste. They had the social privilege, whereas we in present have the privilege of not being slaughtered and eaten. It all boils down to privilege. We don't want to accept our privilege as humans, as not being separated from families and all. Ps. I do not support killing people for eating meat. Yes, they are doing sth bad but sometimes some people are forced to eat meat because of poverty. I don't blame them. However people who can avoid this eating meat should be blamed. Because they can afford vegan food. But of course, vegan violence is not a solution.

I love this format, I also loved the public live streams you used to have on Wednesday in the same format. My recommendation - Firstly - figure out how long you would like to have a live stream? Divide the time in half, it doesn't have to comments first & calls later, mix match a bit. Lastly & most important- Give callers a time limit to present there argument. Let's say 5 minutes and take only 5 calls a day. People will come up with better arguments in lue of less time. Let me know what you think
