One event you didn't mention - Run Alton Towers. From 2021 onwards, the park has hosted a runners' weekend in November, with 5k, 10k, and half marathon races around the park

Merlin have no interest in dark rides, I very highly doubt the building speculated to go in the old coaster corner is going to house any sort of dark ride - they no longer have the same group of people who made the tussauds parks what they were and it’s sad. I wish they’d just pull their finger out and employ some genuinely creative magic makers. Alton manor is embarrassing for a company the size of Merlin.
