Blow a golf ball sized hole through the first man, he's dead on the spot. Draw my pistol on the second man, miss him entirely because it's smoothbore and nails the neighbors dog. I have to resort to the cannon mounted at the top of the stairs loaded with grape shot, "Tally ho lads" the grape shot shreds two men in the blast, the sound and extra shrapnel set off car alarms. Fix bayonet and charge the last terrified rapscallion. He Bleeds out waiting on the police to arrive since triangular bayonet wounds are impossible to stitch up. Ah. Just as the founding fathers intended.

From what I heard, HE filler shells like APHE aren't that much more effective than regular AP, it explodes in a cone shape like that of spalling from regular solid shot so after WW2 people get rid of them all together in favor of CHEAT-FS and APDS, which later evolved into APFSDS. Of course, Gayjin can manipulate how shell physics work in game so APHE has a massive buff

@@anonymousunknown4811 if APHE explodes inside it will be definetely better than AP cuz of exlposion in closed space and overpressure (with high amounts of explosive filler like in IS-2 gun). It way more increased cone shape up to from 50 to 110 degrees (u can find simulation on yt its called "the effectiveness of APHE") .But APHE cost way more than regular AP shell, and explosive charge not always worked correctly (especially on soviet shells). And yes, gajin didnt modelled APHe explosion properly, but in reality this type of shell was very deadly too.

@@Вроцлав-ъ6ц the oveepressure was the biggest advantage as from what I've heard the cone of spalling wasn't much better compared to solid shot. The APHE typically traded slightly better damage for slightly worse penetration due to the hollowed out core

the hesh have a penetration where over it it dont do shit or very little . also it dont work on space armor the maus armor is tick and angled so it reduce a lot what a hesh can do

i have learned that if you hold down the fire button when it does that odd ghost shell thing, or click rapidly, it will actually cause YOU to fire a 'ghost shell' where the animation has already played and you are 'reloading'. so feel free to try that and see if it solves anything

I saw this happen, though only when packet loss was occuring, aka massive server lag. Haven't seen it happen in regular gameplay with stable connection, and don't feel like constantly spamming LC on the off chance that I'll ghost-shell

10 months later I can safely say I have been consistently one shotting everything now.. except for two moments where I somehow only got a track from a direct hit (I think the guy I shot had spaced armor anyways) and a sherman that somehow only got their radiator, engine, and loader destroyed from a direct hit on the side
