The Fyreslayers! - Lore, Archetypes and More!

The search for Ur Gold kind of reminds me of the collecting of beskar by the mandalorians. Now I want to play a fyreslayer character in Soulbound, just to play the mercenary role, search for hidden fyreslayer lodges in each city to meld the material in my skin to improve myself and say constantly: "This is the way"

A good way to understand the Doomseeker is to look at the old Slayers. There were all sorts of dwarves that took the Slayer Oath. The most famous was an engineer before he was a disgraced kinslayer and eventually disgruntled avatar of Grimnir.

Although one important distinction is that Doomseekers aren't necessarily seeking a glorious death. Some are seeking other things such as vengeance or even a way to unit the Fyreslayers as a people (to give an incredibly specific example).

I like your Fyreslayer. I'm really looking forward to the next book that brings in more Archetypes and spells and stuff. In particular I think they really shorted the Cities of a lot of their good character types, particularly the Dispossessed who got nothing.

Honestly I think GW did the Fyreslayers kinda dirty as a faction. This video shows that they have a load of potential, and yet they’re limited to a few samey looking units and heroes.

Me and my group have been planning a soulbound game but only as Chaos in a path to glory sort of set up. We have one person for each god. Wondering if there's any Chaos point of view content or home brew stuff that could help us.

As far as I could tell they only have order stuff in the game although I think I read some where that they would want to expand and give people the factions they want but don't take my word on that

I wonder how the lore will justify the other Grand Alliances’ Soulbound? Destruction & Death. Will that includes Sons of Behemat and Fimir? Will Nagash do it as the anti-soulbound?

You mean...the only faction worth playing is Fyreslayers? Who knew?! 😂 Also the way the Duardin explain the battle. . THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED! You don't want a grudge do ya? I'm playing a runeson who left to find his own Lodge after refusing to serve under his brother. Lol no hard feelings between them, he even likes him, but Fyreslayers are a prideful bunch and he failed the challenge to become runefather unlike his brother. Digging your character. Did you plan on playing him??
