Like all the Kingdoms of England before unification under the Normans? Or like the unification of the six Kingdoms of Ireland by the Normans 100 years later? Local government is important. Thats why each of the 4 countries in the UK have their own representation.

We need more Irish speaking secondary schools here up north, there are plenty of primary schools. Unfortunately for me and many others before and after I left P7 in 1990 there was no Irish secondary schools and I have lost must what I learned. Luckily my wee sister and youngest brother were able to go to an Irish secondary school and my sister is now a primary school teacher and I get to relearn a bit doing some homework with her kids. 🤞✌🇮🇪

The importance of this is to stave off the genocide that the English had been trying for centuries. People think that genocide is mass killings, but that's only the end results. There's always a build up and it starts with suppression of language and culture. This is why these things are so important, and why your channel is so important to the cause. Thank you. 💚

Why now more than ever? Anglo-Irish relations are at their absolute peak in terms of positivity, we look on the Irish better than ever here in GB 🇬🇧 and it’s probably vice versa. There’s absolutely no view in Britain to lay claim to the RoI and not even our most extreme politicians call for that. Our governments even have defence pacts to ward off Russia aircraft/submarines and of course the Good Friday Agreement that allows people to choose to be Irish or British and allows free movement everywhere on both islands.

Ireland and the philippines are almost similar in history; being oppressed by the colonizers, the creation of la liga filipina by our national hero to stop the spanish persecution of filipinos and instill nationalistic pride amongst the people, to the death of the 13 martyrs of cavite that were executed for cooperating with the katipuneros, and volunteering to fight to retain the freedom of other nations that are being oppressed, not to mention millions of filipinos are going overseas to pull their families out of poverty.

There is absolutely a need and a desire to grown the Irish Language, especially now, where n parts if the country we are being in-undated with cultures not compatible with Western values and where our language will be intra important, especially in times of conflict.
