That actually might not be the case. From what this series shown us the commander and other stormtroopers aren’t effected by chaos corruption so far. It has been stated that all traitor marines who serve specific god get an area of corruption (effects vary from what god) that nearly affects all mortals. The commander and his crew has interacted with 2 chaos god specifically legions without falling into madness or the gods hands. The death guard warp plagues might have no effect on them.

@@TheWarriorofHonor actually whilst rare lamenters do fall to the black rage and its supposedly ten times worst then normal (I am most likely wrong on that front but from memory it is worse then normal) and I believe their leader has fallen to it 3 or so times at this point and pulled himself out of it, and now I head cannon it takes either a full blown emporer class titan weaponry or exterminatus too fully kill one and good luck to the enemy as they will be lucky to have a fucking force afterwards

@@theenderdestruction2362 Yep very rare indeed, working theory is, that since they are so very used to misery and hardship, the red thirst and black rage have a lot less of a grip on them. But yeah *when* the black rage overcomes them it is indeed quite a lot worse than with any other successor chapter of the blood angels. Not surprising really. After all, all that bottled up frustration and anger from being the Universe's (and Tzeentch's) personal toilet is truly a force to fear. So I absolutly agree with your head cannon!

I think the Iron Warrior may be a bit too animated, waving his arms around as such, Feel like he wouldn't waste his movements so much beyond nodding or turning his head to speak/look at the Imperial commander. Blood angel animation at the end was perfection though. Now I really wanna see some "pay to win officer" that get in the Command on his father's money try to come in and take over. Stormtrooper captain looks at the Ironwarrior hearing the most obnoxious stupid shit from the Imperial Officer. before duping him into going to meet the Night Lord. The thing I really love about WH40k is how you can't fully rely on how terrifying the Marine looks to identify them as either Loyalist or Chaos. While wearing human skulls might help you, it's not always a guarantee. Also Stormtrooper should meet some Salamanders and Lamenters, he might regain a Tiny bit of hope.

I love the dynamic with the stormtrooper and Iron Warrior, and with a little mental gymnastics it even makes sense. The Iron Warrior isn't looking down on the stormtrooper because he is being efficient, logical, ruthless, isn't questioning the information given to him and making decisions based only on what he knows. It's almost like the stormtrooper is a kindred spirit.

I started laughing at the title. The Galactic Empire would be sooooo hosed. I mean yeah, the Empire may have have Sith....but they only have two of them. The imperium has lots and lots and lots and lots of bolter rounds LOL Plus BILLIONS of soldiers. Psychers. Proper tanks. Heavy artillery. and if all else fails....exterminatus.
