@@TylerDurden-ww3yg maybe if they had actually developed abby as a character before killing joel it would have been fine playing her. but she kills joel immediately before anyone knows her and the devs expect us to have sympathy for her. nobody is ever going to like her. you wont understand how iconic joel was if you havnt played the original game in 2013. so that was the shittiest character development decision ever made. the fact the ellie lost everything in the end for no reason was also a stupid decision. i get it "revenge is a fools game" but ellie wouldnt have ever gone on a killing rampage in the first place. it completely contradicts her character from the first game. and the fact tommy out of everyone decided to convince ellie and guilt trip her is something tommy wouldnt ever do. Finally, look i love violence in a game and im completely fine with it. but there was no reason to make it so gruesome. like ellie could have just killed them without torturing them. its disturbing for no reason. also the abby sex scene is the worst and most out of place scene in any vidoe game ever. those are only a few cracks in the story. i still think its a good game. but ghost of tsuitshima or doom definately deserved to win

Game “journalists” will praise anything that is pretty much just propaganda for their political views or unapologetic virtue signalling all the while trashing any game that doesn’t conform to their views (just look at Rock Paper Shotgun’s review of Code Vein for a particularly egregious example of the latter). I am just really struggling to understand how the fuck the last of us part 2 won so many awards and game of the year. I played through it and it was just decent at best, the story felt muddled and drawn on with a bad ending and the gameplay was kinda hit or miss. There was so many better games in 2020 and I just dont know how it got so many awards.

I don't understand why people are frustrated over TLOU 2 for winning Awards......I think it really deserved GOTY because of the intense and deep story, the mechanics were great, the overall Acting was good.... maybe people didn't understood the motive of hate and forgiveness in the story and plot of TLOU 2

To 90 % of the people commenting about TLOU Part 2. I feel pity cause majority of you haven’t even played the game and i can tell you’re missing out. Even if somehow you didn’t like the game we can at least agree about how big of a technical achievement it is in terms of graphics and game design, even on a ps4. Just look at cyberpunk and then look at what tlou achieved. The developers deserve this recognition because they worked hard to make it such a fluid experience. Whats more, even in terms of cinematography its just a spectacle that I cannot wait to play again.

Problem is that we got 2 great games, GoT and Lou2 in short time. One deep, cruel, dramatic and sad and one enjoyable too all. GoT was great and fun and i see why it is loved more. LoU2 was cinematic masterpeace, guitar, animations, ellie flashbacks. Many of haters are kids who dont know what pain, lost and cruelty of world is. Ghost is fun and enjoyable game, LoU2 is cruel real game with sad story. Both great games but Lou2 is on another level of quality.
