I cant believe its been a whole since we last done one of these. My counterargument to Elden Ring as GOTY is the barrier of entry because you need to at least beat about half of the base the game and you need to beat a secret boss to access it. It's also not fair to the older games that had expansions that weren't nominated

I’m with Tom. I’m so tired of the From Soft circle jerk and felt FFVII Rebirth was far more enjoyable anyway from a story, character, combat, exploration, muuuuusic!! Game of the year for me. Thanks for the fun video, Tom!
