I also stressed how ineffective regular jockey is compared to speed jockey. When utilising regular jockey, it is soooo slow when attempting to track the movements of the attacker. @@fearsome1376 same thing here man, im 36 and i drop nukes in CoDM, elite div in fifa, Rank 1 or two fut champs, but sometime i simply loose 8 or 9-0 in elite division but its not cause of settings or scripts, some younger people literary put their entire life in to fifa and you just can't keep up, i talked to a guy who defeated me and he is 19 and have over 2000 matches with his Ginola, sorry but I have kids, a job and other responsibilities, my entire match count to get to elite division is 300 matches, plus don't forget this is a full pay to win platform, and even though i have the money i will never spend it on a game thats why there will always be a team that will destroy me and you just have to accept that

One glitch I absolutely hate is the ability to change gameplay settings mid game. So the game is going at a certain pace, the guy pauses and changes settings. After the pause is like we are playing a total different game and he wins 6-1.

I started playing FUT in February and it was game changing when I discovered L2 & R2 defending from Neal. Good thing i didn’t know about the glitch, perhaps I would’ve tried it to move up the ranks. Currently in Div3 (in reality i should be div4 or 5) and FutChamps Rank3, but now i wouldn’t try assisted jockey as I’m becoming more and more comfortable with defending

@@gethighfly l2 basically squares your defender up facing the opponent so when you move left or right forward or back it's more controlled, if someone goes one way then back to create space it's easier to cover off the second move as you haven't overcommitted in your first movement as you were holding l2; r2 just increases the speed at which you make those movements so it's easier to make blocks or cut out passing lanes and make interceptions .... at least this is my understanding but I've always used it that way, I also span the tackle button using these buttons and it helps me win the ball even though my end of game stats are like 50 tackles and 15 successful 🤣

EA knows about this already however I saw on another video that the reason why they haven't fixed it was because the error was probably in the games script/code, and not just fixable via patch. This is also why during tournaments between pros, EA now has the players change their controller settings in real time just before every match.

I cannot believe why it's hard to fix it. The sequence to implement is quite obvious - store global settings, init session settings at the beginning of the game using stored settings and with overlapping some mandatories, mark some settings as read only during the session.

I’m an elite player and I’ve used manual for years. The issue is what you said in the beginning, which is defenders tracking attackers. It takes 1 game with bad gameplay and you’re screwed because your defender won’t track the attacker at the rate that your thumb is moving him to. Same applies with left stick dribbling like you said and 90% of fifa games have bad gameplay. will switching to assisted help compensate for these gameplay issues?

I’m a little late but thank you so much for this video. I played someone just last night who I was 100% certain was cheating. Now I know they were just manipulating this. It was overwhelming. Every single dribble and change of direction I attempted it felt like they were literally watching my inputs. No matter how random the movement they were mirrored. Their player locked onto everything… I’ve never experienced anything like it in my time of playing fifa… tall players were moving side to side and changing direction in the same way as kante or messi. It's rediculous cos you do see fb at cb irl. For example, I'm a Chelsea fan so reece james is a prime example. Hi Neal, I’m a old school gamer and still use the d pad for directional use as I’ve never got to grips with the stick, my question is am I at a disadvantage when jockeying using the d pad? I'm absolutely sick of issues like this in games. Fifa is particularly bad, no feedback from EA about it. Setting different controller settings for offline play isnt even possible so I dunno why online would be any better.
