I think you should consider putting at least one dusclops. You don’t need a KO every single time, sometimes it’s helpful just to get over a big MON providing additional damage for your main attacker to breakthrough. And prevent you from being totally relianton rare candy.

@@RowanStavenowTCGits not about knocking something out with dusclops, its about pinging something that is between 230-270 so you can knock them out, so technically you are getting prizes with dusclops

​@RowanStavenowTCG it's not about knocking out with Dusclops itself. It's a matter of hitting certain attack thresholds that you might not be able to hit. Especially where you're sacrificing 20 damage with the DTE. Even at 8 benched Pokémon that's not enough to say one shot an Iron Thorns ex, Roaring Moon ex, Iron Hands ex, other Terapagos ex, and even Raging Bolt ex. Dusclops opens up all those mons by putting them at 190hp and under remaining so that a 7 bench powered up Terapagos can still knock them out. Plus to add. Some decks still play 50hp Pidgey for call for family so if they haven't evolved that Pidgey up. It's a prime target for Dusclops to knockout.

To add on to what other people are saying, the dusclops are good because it conserves your rare candy which is a premium resource in this deck. You pretty much only have three after evolving into a Pidgeot ex.

It’s fine for your guy to die and clear out your noctowl/fan rotom. They will likely replace the stadium anyways. If you have another sure put it down but I’d prioritize additional basics heavily

I’ve been playing this deck since it was available on live. When it works it’s nuts. Raging bolt feels so bad though. Dragapult can be tough too if you don’t go first and get a Duskull down.

With the abundance of Turbo Moon and running x4 Pokestop, I turned x3 Area Zero to x4. If not needed its an easy Ultra Ball fodder choice. Also S-Billy teamed with Fan Rotom is very impactful at least from my experience.

Do you think the charizard matchup is favorable into zard if they bench 3 charmanders? since 330hp its a lot for this deck to handle?

Yeah I think it’s still manageable. At that point I would kill pidgey instead and save your dusknoir for later. When they KO you, you can use iono + bloodmoon to punch the zard for 240 and put them in a rough spot with no pidgeot

You could also use Dusknoir+rebench+Unified Beatdown for 350 total if absolutely necessary

I want to like this deck, but I keep bricking with it. I’m only about a dozen games in but it feels like Lugia is more consistent for me 😂 Just had a game where both Dusknoirs, a terapagos, and my boss were prized. 😅

Just not necessary. Maxing out on consistency to set up a t2 dusknoir play is more valuable. Only downside is you get wrecked by Kyurem 😅
