A 2010 matchup with the division on the line! After a rough & slow first half, the second one would be an absolute slugfest between two heavyweight teams. Suggs, Lewis & Reed wouldn't be good enough to stop a clutch Roethlisberger late in this one. Polamalu had one of the most beautiful strip sacks I had ever seen. With time dwindling, Troy jumps off the line & gives Elite QB (hehe) Joe Flacco a blow to the arm, setting up the final score of this classic!

Great game! Really ticked me off that year! Harrison was getting fined every week for making hard tackles, but then Big Ben gets smacked in the face, breaks nose and they don't even get a flag!! Thanks for the Video!

@@kennethcanady8826 I agree. The Ravens basically built their team like the Steelers. The Steelers have dominated the North for so long that the Ravens had to emulate the Steelers to compete. So like you, I appreciate the Ravens because they had to become tough in order to beat the Steelers, and the Steelers have to remain tough to stay ahead of them. It should be interesting to see how the Browns do this year being one of the Hunted instead of the underdog.

Personally my favorite Steelers-Ravens game. 8-3 vs. 8-3 in a game that ended up deciding the division and a first round bye. Troy with the clutch turnover and Ben, bloodied and battered, making the plays at the end. I always prefered the lower scoring games in the rivalry. Every play mattered

You would not believe how much I was thinking about this game after last night. This and so many other memories since 2004. I'm really glad that I got to experience Ben Roethlisberger, especially because I remember Stewart, Maddox, Kent Graham, Mike Tomczak, Neil O'Donnell, and even Bubby Brister (Luckily for me, I missed out on the Mark Malone error) as the starting QB. The young folks who have no memory of that period are really fortunate.

Do you recall the interview of Big Ben immediately after this game? They asked him about how it felt to play with a broken nose. He answered that when the game began his injured foot really bothered him, but after he broke his nose it didn't bother him anymore! It would be wonderful to addend that short quip from his interview to this video of this amazing game!

A very small known fact: This would be Ben's last win against Baltimore until 2013! (Swept in 2011, and Charlie Batch was qb in 2012). Also Ben wouldn't win in Baltimore again until 2017 to where he went on a dominating stretch there at 4-0(8-0 altogether) and not losing to Baltimore again.
