​@@josephbryant1666Wyatt has unlimited Bomb Squad, can instantly turn off objectives at a distance, long range family stun and the lowest stealth level which means those points have been added to more relevant attributes like toughness, endurance and proficiency. Once players get better at long range knife throws, which is already happening, you're going to start seeing batteries and gens turned off in the first minute of the game. I run with a few guys and we normally escape 6-7 times out of 10 matches. With the addition of a Level 3 ability Wyatt we were speed rushing and getting out almost every time if not every time the last few nights. Rushing has never been easier!!! As for Bones... his savagery is broken. The recovery time for well dropping and barricade hurdling is so slow it's not worth it in most scenarios. Additionally, his Gore Bombs proximity needs a buff since victims can just run past them or crouch walk by them. Even the gore bomb exploit for 180 blood vials is useless when getting rushed. Those are truths!

@@KamSuuu the only strat that makes Bones good is his blood build... and that's only because of an unintended game mechanic being used to get easy 180 blood vials. I don't expect him to be the best with a level 1 ability but even at a level 3 I put him at Sissy's tier.

I think the Gore Bombs should be instant like the moment a victim runs through the radius they are hit, no ticking, no nonsense. You can still avoid them if you walk slowly, also if there is like an objective within the radius, like door, fusebox, or valves, if the victims opens them they can get hit with 20% less damage and they get up 20% only if they were crouching when they opened it

@@CAdeNA_25 I haven't played since Hands came out. I had a game where I had to use 15+ bone scraps and Hands just camped, reset his traps, and ripstalled the fuse and the valve. Hitchy camped battery and there was no way to escape. The game was ruined ever since they made the valve too hard if you're not Danny. The killers can just camp and it's dumb.

I've been saying this. We added a level 3 Wyatt to our 3 man rush and we are getting out under 3 mins. His knives need a nerf. Any Victim main that disagrees just want to use an OP character. We played 10 victim matches the other night and most of us got out every time using a SIMPLE strat. It's ridiculous!

I think they should separate Wyatt’s upgrades. Picking up your knife and shutting off the gen/battery need to be separate. It’s one or the other. Also change his lvl 3 upgrade to “the first time” you throw a knife at the gen or battery it turns off. 1 time use for the game and that’s it. That way you have to actually use strategy and thought on when to use it. It’s still OP and ridiculous but I think that would help

I’m going to state something very simple for whoever reads this comment. If you want to know if a game is truly broken DO NOT look to social media standpoints to get opinions. If you genuinely don’t enjoy playing the game, stop playing it. Now from someone with no standpoints on this update all I can really say is using anecdotal evidence is not a justifiable reason to qualify something as broken. The whole point of this game is that, not every match is supposed to play the same way or have the same outcome, the game favors communication and if there is non you have a lower chance of winning. My one opinion that I believe made this game “meta” (which I think asym games shouldn’t even have meta builds or characters but that’s a conversation for another time) is when they started making character abilities that directly counter another characters ability such as hands, and Danny (not including Connie and cook because Connie’s cooldown is extremely long which I love). Virginia was probably the best DLC character to drop for this game, but besides that I love this game to death and I will never stop playing because I spent too much money on it lol, but for anyone who’s reading this just have fun, if you like the game don’t feel bad for liking the game, and if you think the game is broken it’s simple to keep that opinion to yourself. Not everyone is going to agree with what you think of the game so simply just keep it to yourself. Also, this video did an amazing job covering this entire update. One last thing, I know GUN gets a lot of hate because people want this game to succeed because it’s a popular franchise, but I genuinely want people to at least acknowledge how much effort GUN has put into this game that most devs don’t, I really think the hate is a little too much considering how far this game has come. I’m not saying the game is perfect because it has it moments like now where everything isn’t the best but if there is one thing I want people to realize is that GUN really loves this game, as much as they mess things up I will acknowledge the effort they put into this game. I mean the visuals speak for themselves honestly. (killer klowns, and DBD could never but….)

The “Savior” twitter post didn’t bother me nearly as much as Andy’s reply on Reddit that implied that people just hadn’t found the “counter” to Wyatt’s level 3 ability yet because it’s still too early. 😭 Kind of depressed that you guys are gonna be leaving the game for a while, but I get it. It crazy how I took a break from this game for months, only to come back to ppl starting matches just to immediately DC with no penalty (had to figure out the reasoning behind that) and every time I pressed “Quick Play”, I kept getting pushed into (FRUSTRATING) Family matches back to back to back. They’ve build the game around audible communication where a lot of ppl are too shy to actually speak to each other and coordinate while parties of friends know exactly how to exploit game mechanics and hold a game clearly in their favor, hostage, while they farm points.

yea i thought dbd devs are bad at balance!!! but at least dbd devs do a way better job at loops! this game is TERRIBLE! the loops extremely favor victims and most of them are infinite loops!, on top of that you have to wait for the victim using the loop before you can use the crawl/ gap or barricade wtf is that it gives the victim even more time. kicking crawl spaces serve no purpose when your in a chase since a victim can open the crawl space faster than a family member can get over to the otherside, why not have the crawl spaced jammed for like 2to5seconds forcing victim to find a different loop or suffer some m1 attacks if they want to camp it.

These devs build functionality with the intention that their game will be played as designed. That has never happened with a single PVP that I can name. The player base will looks for ways to exploit and gain an advantage to win. It's in our competitive nature.

It must be clarified that as a victim, for example María, you can crouch towards Grandpa, stab him and move away from him while crouching, the Bone bombs will not explode so you can counter him quite a bit if he has a blood build.

It sucks that they just had to release broken abilities on characters again. Apparently Bone's has an ability where anytime his bomb explodes even if they don't hit a victim gives full blood vial. So I've seen some bones players put 2 bombs at common basement doors to get them exploded to feed grandpa to level 3 for free. This was potentially their final chance to bring the playerbase back and they fumbled yet again.

Max blood build is 182 units. Set bombs at entrances, collect 182 blood, feed, collect other spark plug for another 182, feed. Then place new bombs around Grandpa. Each stab is 182 blood to refeed. This plus 1 other Fam with a partial blood build can get him and keep him at level 5. Victims can't do anything.

I wouldn't say the GAME is broken, rather, Bones needs to be fixed (which Gun knows) and Wyatt's knife-throwing abilities (esp. level 3) need to be significantly nerfed. Fix these two things and the game should be in a very good place.

Not to mention, if you have two family members (Hitchhiker and Hands) defending the generator or even Battery with traps... it is not going to matter as Wayne can literally bypassed the traps and still deactivate the generator instantly as well as disable the traps all together with one throwing knife. I seen a clip of it and I can easily declare it broken as Danny's instant tampering ability at his release. They need to rework the level 3 ability to do something else entirely.... like being able to fully heal yourself completely after a successful knife throw on a family member.... anything more balance than this...

Not for nothing but the graveyard absolutely sucks. It's the worst designed map by far. If you think about the design of the map they took away half of the map off spawn. It would be like playing gas station while only forcing them to go to battery only until they could figure out a way to get generator side open. This leads to a small lockdown zone with way to powerful of traps by family to negate going through the gates. It would be more balanced if family was not allowed to turn the water pumps back on at all or they couldn't be interacted with for a solid minute. Currently the characters suck the map sucks everything about it sucks.

I found that Bones is a very useful support character. You might not get the kills but you can damage them to set it up for others. Also if you put his bombs to give you full blood, feed grampa, repeat, then you can max gramps out very quickly. Also useful is the stamina drain and all fam see victims with his bombs. Just wait til they buff him, he will be a fam favorite

Honestly Rush Week should have launched with Public lobbies. Had two friends willing to come back when Rush week was announced but once we found out we couldn’t play together they were completely done with this game. Personally haven’t played in months just came back to try things out and yeah not impressed. I’ll probably move it back into storage soon.

You both made valid points about Wyatt and Bones. It’s disappointing to see what they did with Wyatt’s ability. Really? Not worth playing as Family anymore. How do we counter it? Tunnel him like I did as LF in the basement with Danny? My Xbox party, almost always dcs either in lobby or in game. It sucks. It’d be a lot better if the team was on it with Blck Tower implementing fixes. But they seem to care less. Thus, me not wanting to play as Family anymore or even the game. Goodbye fun time playing Nicotero LF and rockin out to music while over heading victims.

Here’s an idea. They should change Wyatt’s level 3 ability to maybe something like (throwing a knife at an objective will cause it to be tampered AFTER it’s been manually shut off by someone.) Example: he throws a knife at gen and someone kicks it off, then it’s tampered. There should still be a mini game that has to be played to make things fair. Instant shut off is just way too overpowered, especially being able to Hail Mary and hit the target from any distance.

For Wyatt's level 3 ability, "interact" is interestingly vague. It leaves loose ends for a nerf, as if - contra to how generous to the devs you're being - they did knowingly put out P2W content, so that everyone would buy it, and aimed to then nerf it two months later to make the game playable. In that case Wyatt will still be able to "interact" with objectives, but that interaction will be far tamer. The knives will probably just make shutting off the objective quicker, or something.

the new map is not fun for anyone. there are two gates right next to each other for easy camping, the deadends are a massive headache, there are 4 wells throughout the entire map, ontop of everything else wrong with it. i have been playing since release, and they keep making the same mistakes (ontop of new ones) and its genuinely just exhausting. im tired of these game breaking bugs and overpowered abilities that just make it impossible for the other team to enjoy the game (family and victim)

A lot of good points made. I’m still leveling both Bones and Wyatt atm so it’s hard to form a full opinion, but the clips I’ve seen are enough to tell me that however long until they decide to make changes to that lvl 3 upgrade are going to be hell (especially when there’s those Wyatt/Connie rush squads) once players get the gist of it. Reddit’s going nuts already, less than a week since the dlc dropped and for once I don’t really blame them I still can’t wrap my head around what thought process went into making a counter for a counter… to a counter lol. On a positive note, the graveyard map is gorgeous and the new escape is neat. Really hoping they continue to expand Rush Week as well, it’s a nice break from main mode at times

I had a match on the mill as hands. Im downstairs just outside the mill by the gen side. The pressure valve on the 3rd floor of the mill gets activated. I run to the mill and the door is locked. I had to barge it. I get to the 2nd floor stairs and Wyatt knives me. I get to the valve and he knives me again. I try to turn it again and he miss's his knife. I shut it off "just" before he opened. He backstabs me with a bone and touches to valve to open the door. I ripstall the valve and the Virginia on the first floor turns on the fuse box. Im uninstalling the game. Enjoy your 20 mins que times victim mains. Whoever thinks this is balanced is full of shit.

The missing sound issues are back. Leatherface's screams and chainsaw fx will go out. Feels like getting killed in a silent film. I'm hesitant to use Wyatt's knife because it freezes the game sometimes

Decided to come back and give it another shot after I watched your video the other day. What a disappointment man to find out if you leave lobby because it's taking forever if a killer leaves and or a victim it seems to put the lobby in a freeze you get hit with a dc penalty like what madness is that. It's such a shame what they have done to this game. I had high hopes on launch and it's just no more at this point I got a refund and I'm not for giving 3rd chances

wyatt makes release danny not look as bad and that’s just insane to say. i just can’t fathom how this is in the game especially after release day danny. atleast with danny, you had to go around and get knowledge to tamper, but with wyatt, he starts out with 3 knives, so from the moment the game starts he can insta shut off gen/battery three times and thats without even retrieving the knives. that would be the equivalent of danny starting the game with a full bar of knowledge. i’m just at a loss for words. truly a loss for words🤣🙄

its not enough to save this game its slowly dying all the time with that said due to HOW long this has been going on victims expect for fast escapes! and alot of victim players don't care about balance!, when i play this game as victim all this game needs is x2 more victim players and victim bots! if someone dc's that is literally it for victims! since a victim dying early which should NEVER HAPPEN if you know how to loop since catching an victim in basement is 99% impossible to do unless that victims messes up!. BUT WHAT FAMILY NEEDS MASSIVE BUFFS ALL ACROSS THE BOARD! all the gates should receive a extra bar to be unlocked atm its only 3 it needs to be changed to 4! escaping is way way way to fast and easy! that solo Q is just painful as family. grandpa should be lvl1 right off the bat if victims just start rushing and making alot of noise in the basement!, this will also make stealth perks better and putting points in stealth should work vs this if your victim. victims shouldn't be allowed to unlock or touch the basement doors for at least 30seconds. letherface should be allowed to have some play time!!!!!! this will be fun for both victims and leatherface. all family member NEED SCOUT!, scout should be basekit the only way you can catch a victim is pretty much with scout cause loops favor victims since family members are slower and require perks to catch up! on top of that majority of barricades and wells are free escapes. family should be more dangerous when victims are out in the open but this isnt the case with this game majoirty of the time! on top of that family has to go constantly around to check objectives all the time while victims can wait and camp a area and wait for family to leave, thus without scout its just better to camp objectives if your family making this game a poor design. you want family going out and chasing not camping!. family stamina needs to be fixed when not in chase the stamina should'nt go down that fast unless they're in chase with a victim! family still has way way to much ground/ map to cover constantly!.

i would like to suggest a way to make bones much more powerfull then you think, but only as a support family member, if you reach level three on him, you can make his gore bombs fully restore his blood vial when he picks them up, if you stack them nearby grandpa and they get detonated, at max BH and with blood banker, you can instantly get over three levels of blood for grandpa, just from picking them up, if you have your own blood vial filled before going to get them, you can get grandpa a grand total of 450+ blood, or four and a half levels *just on your own* and this can be done instantly, right from the start of the game, on slaughterhouse, putting both bombs in the shed that grandpa spawns in or near, you can effectly get level five the moment *anybody* passes by or though it, or as fast as it takes grandpa to get hungry again but what if they stab him! once you juice granpy up, simply put the bombs near him, if they stab him, the bombs litterally detonate into a feeding platter right on top of him, effectively fully restoreing *with some extra blood* anything they took off of him his gore bombs can also become effectively instant kills with the stamina drain effect, but that requires them to hit victims, which is a pretty big ask, since there so obvious and easy to avoid, but combineing that with the total reveal makes them lethal landmines if they ever land

That's a lie, playing as María, I approach grandpa crouching, and stab him, then I move away from him crouching, the bombs never explode, I already faced two bones who wanted to try that and they only lost time while the other victims escaped. The stabbing animation does not activate the bombs, only if they approach or move away from him without crouching, it's just that most players approach it walking or running, but if you know that there are bombs there it is easy to never activate them

@ If family is far enough away they can’t get you in time for you to crouch both up to grandpa, stab or sweet talk him, and get away while still crouched, that’s on them for effectively having no presence on what’s normally a center point of maps, either way, what I said wasint a lie, there are just means for avoiding it on the victims end. But to clarify something, it doesent matter if you don’t set off the bombs ON grandpa, if they get set off, which you can place them in areas that *cannot* be avoided from setting them off, or if avoided lock off areas of the map, if they are set off, it’s free full vials of blood for bones, and he can single handedly max out grandpa in less then a minute under the right situation

There is some pretty good stuff with this update, but it has a shit ton of problems. The crashes and freezes are bad, the new map has a lot of balance problems, and Bones is very underpowered and Wyatt is very overpowered. You can get to the fusebox though without hitting that well, even without saboteur, but you definitely are cutting it close, no dilly dallying! And his well one is too slow, I dropped right behind victims that went down well and went incap 3 times, all 3 times they were able to recover before I did. I dropped maybe only 1-2 seconds after them. Kinda useless if I can’t even get an incap victim this way. I REALLY REALLY doubt all 3 were running high toughness and/or had rally leader.

Gun will not stop the pay to win, cash grab attitude until we as the gamers force them to care more about the actual gameplay of there games. I know they love horror and want to be true to making horror ip's into accurate movie set maps and great detail they do ,but the gameplay is the most important part of a game Guys. The new graveyard map is terrible. The layout is confusing, it's easy for victims to get caught out in the open. The overall issue is that it's to family sided. Normally, I'm able to understand a map and its layout in a day or two, but this map on the other hand is damn near impossible, this map had a lot potential and failed to meet my expectations.

It doesn't matter how fast or how slow your approach is you will always get caught. So, is there a way that you can this map without having to worry about other family members chasing you, because I'm still trying to understand it? I have only been able to escape one time through generator. Playing killer on this map is not to be bad, but still confusing, and I also have no idea where wells/coffins/caskets spawn at.

@ I find that pushing to the Caretaker side and going up that ladder is the best and safest start, but you’ll want to do it quietly so that you won’t have an obnoxious Johnny rushing the basement lol the door that leads to the fuse exit is definitely the first to open.

And about playing family not being fun to me is because if we want to win we MUST camp the doors. Most part of the game you had to be stuck in some area. You cannot waste time searching victims because if you do you will lose. Family should able to refil some locks. And i'm saying in a place of someone who enjoys playing family as much as playing victim.
