The game will go all the way until the end of the arrancar arc, this has been confirmed for months from an interview. So till will go up until the Arrancar saga finale, including Dangai Ichigo vs Hogyoku Aizen.

The games story is going up untik Ichigo defeats Aizen, we still have several Captains, Espada, officers like Hisagi, Ikkaku, Momo, and Yumichika. Also a few Visoreds.

Momo is more relevant than Nel too, and we do know Momo is a expert Kido user and her Zanpakuto shoots fireworks and fireballs. Momo has been in fights, she fought Toshiro and helped Rangiku fight against Ayon and Hallibels Fraciones.

It basically covers the entire OG anime, until when Ichigo defeats Aizen. Honestly I think thats a good amount of content to cover. Fullbring and TYBW would be better suited for a sequel since that would be way too many characters and story to jam pack into one game.

Brand new characters with their move sets. I think it is better for it to have a sequel game than stretch the games life's span through DLC. At least they have a chance to put a new spin on the gameplay through a sequel so the gameplay won't go stale

@ Characters who have skins do not have the necessary baggage to make them a new character in TYBW, Rangiku is the same, Byakuya too except small changes, Toshiro and Yoruichi change only with their new "transformation". For example, Zaraki cannot have a skin since he is in Shikai and it would therefore be a new character. But it's true that with a sequel we can extend the gameplay but people will complain if they don't put the story mode of the previous game 🤣.

@@Takezo_Shinmen7 I mean it is "sequel" and nowadays they will bundle the first game for sale as a marketing strategy to solve that problem. And I think that is fine since the story mode for RoS is not a lazy slideshow reel. And I think trying to jam pack an entire manga story in just 1 game will just make the game dev to compromise on that department is to resort to showing the story as "mere slideshows". And I think everybody will Agree we don't want the story mode to be told that way. Also the skin DLC the topic. As I said before they will just be merely Costume things. They won't change any actual gameplay thing. My point with that is that them featuring them as just mere DLC skin is alludes that they will probably do the actual TYBW in a separate game. Since It won't make sense to feature the characters using moves they learned outside of what the story mode covers. Since storywise TYBW features new iconic move sets that those characters do in TYBW. Another thing the story mode covers like a big chunk of the entirety of the manga. So any new DLC characters will probably characters the base game wasn't able to include so I feel like Fullbringers is not on a priority to be featured in the game. Like even at this point we don't even know if the entire Lietantants, espadas and their fractions will be playable and people be wanting "Fullbringers". Like those characters will be either "on the tail end of the DLC" or a sequel game. since that makes much more sense "marketing wise". It is a wrong move to exhaust everything immediately.
