This is my favorite era of basketball. I didn’t even grow up watching this, I’m 14 and started watching about a year and a half ago. I just love the mix of offense and defense and actual position basketball with a touch of “positionless” basketball.

This is the first time I 've seen someone of your age not defending today's bland, weakass NBA. I salute you, truly , that you've managed not to let yourself be brainwashed by today's "splash" of social media and the hoopla of contastant 3-point -no-defence- shots masquarading as real game.
@jay_red
@jay_red 2 жыл бұрын
@@Euzebinio I appreciate the salute brother. I’m 15 now and while I understand the need for spacing and how important offense is in today’s league, I just don’t get how unmotivated people can be to really get an inside shot or play some tough defense. And I wish having a center that actually plays inside wasn’t such a crime to these teams. Inside players in general can work, look at Rob Williams, DeAndre Ayton, Giannis, Embiid, ik Jokic shoots a bit but he mostly scores inside, Jarrett Allen, you can make inside players work you just have to use them right like any other player.

Jared Jefferies was like 6'10...looked 6'4 trying to guard LeBron...Gil was crazy talented and fun to watch...good reminder of LBJ's beginning...a whole like of 'not killer' and 'not clutch' here...nope! He was just a different type of closer and had to grow into the pressure points...these were great series.

keryexcept that gilbert relied on explosiveness, athleticism, while harden is/was just smart in how he uses leverage and trickery. never seen anyone be able to draw fouls like that guy did. and he shot that stepback three like nobody else but maybe curry.

When ppl say lebron had no grit and dog in him didnt watch this series or countless others when he was in his early 20s . almosg every team he played was better than his cavs squad yet NO team in the league wanted to see lebron and the cavs in a playoff series . no matter who lebron played you felt he had a chance because he was everywhere. Cavs need a defensive stop or a block to gey the ball back ? There goes lebron sending it off glass . you needed a bucket and some free throws ? There goes lebron taking contact in the lane and 1 . he was a savage man i miss this lebron . look how fast he was at this time
