In week 3 of the 2016 NFL season, the Baltimore Ravens travelled to Jacksonville to play the Jaguars. This was a close game however it was marred by a scrum between Jalen Ramsey and Steve Smith Sr. The two were battling all day fighting for every inch of space and in the 4th quarter, the pair got into a shoving match. After the game, Steve Smith Sr approached the young receiver.

I was a junior when I ran into jalen at FSU, dude back then was humble. It was his first year on the team and after the second practice we knew he was special. Ever since, prime was always coaching him up in private. Imagine being an 18yo kid and being coached by the best corner of all time. After that he started to have this certain swag about him. And at first it was distasteful but dude balled out on the field so I was like okay mini prime. Do ur thang. Him and jameis would host these “church” meetings at jameis’ frat house and I don’t need to elaborate lol. I was in the frat house 3 houses down and every Sunday night when they were in town all you could hear was partying. I was never a starter so I never really got to hang with anyone aside from Dalvin Cook because he wasn’t into the whole party aspect. We’d workout all the time, he was trying to help me make the team as a starter but life had other plans. Growing up I was a diehard bucs fan so when him and Steve got into it I was hype af bc of all the years I had to boo Steve for being on the panthers

The fact that Jalen Ramsey thought he got into Steve Smith's head was freaking hilarious. He only had 87 yards but he caught almost every single pass thrown to him. The definition of locking him up would have been not giving him more than two or three catches. And we really want to talk about somebody getting into somebody's head when it pertains to Jalen Ramsey Tom Brady destroyed Jalen Ramsey's mental state so badly that he had to go on an ego/ Power Trip and then basically quit on his team and then moved from east coast to West Coast. For someone who talks a lot of crap and thinks he's the master manipulator he sure as hell got his butt spanked pretty hard and then cried about it.

I wish we could have had Steve Smith for like 3-5 years of his prime years. He was the epitome of playing like a raven on offense. Ive watch him lift lb's and db's off their feet with stiff arms and he ran so low to the ground he was hard to take down AND he had thebattitude of a man. Imagine if Steve was with prime Ed Ray Terrell haloti on def and Anquan Dennis and Ray one offense 😳

Actually, Jalen has won more than he lost. Smitty can run it with the best of them, but Ramsey is an outstanding cover corner. Trash talk is just part of the persona of some DBs. Some do it, some don't. That doesn't change the fact that he is terrific in coverage and in run support.
