Back in the day that’s how tattoos were done in the street too When you’re brought up in barrios you have absolutely nothing He’s tattooing like that because that’s how it started it (roots) it was tradition in chicano culture that’s how my elders were doing it too I grew up in north east Los Angeles where you would go outside and you would see ppl tattooing outside they’re front yard There were not that many tattoo shops around back then

It kind of pains me to see people get tattoos removed or get rid of stretched ears or whatever, I do understand that wanting to not be associated with the gang culture anymore but for people to remove non gang tattoos it just makes me sad.
