22年前、移住先のオーストラリアから理想の生き方を追って奄美大島に移ってきた熊崎ファミリー。島の人たちに支えられ、自らの手で住居を建て、建築やガラスアートの制作に励む浩。譲り受けた果樹園のガーデンから季節ごとの恵みをプロダクトにし、奄美大島の文化でありスーパーフードと言われる伝統飲料「みき」をワークショップを通して多くの人に紹介している、薫子。今の時代の価値観を象徴するライフスタイルに迫ります。
The Kumazaki family moved to Amami Oshima 22 years ago from Australia, where they had emigrated, to pursue their ideal way of life. With the support of the islanders, Hiroshi built a house with his own hands and has been working hard on architecture and glass art. Kaoruko, who has made products from the seasonal bounty from the orchard garden she inherited and introduced the traditional beverage "Miki," which is a part of the culture of Amami Oshima and is considered a super food, to many people through her workshops. We will take a closer look at her lifestyle that symbolizes the values of the current era.
