The best time saving tip I discovered on my very first playthourgh (I didnt even know about the after game to do list so i didnt know it was time saving . I thought it was what you are supposed to do ) is you can hide items in the grass inside the garden and the gardener won't know. For example I like to place collect his thromostat and jam and put them in the grass. Also the hat. Instead of running far away to hide it and waisting all that precious time you could just hide his hat in the grass.

I don’t know why no one is thinking of this, but the easiest way I’ve taken the hat from the farmer was having him hammer his thumb, then taking the hat after he falls over backwards. It’s a faster way of hiding the hat, since you just have to run with it to the puddle on High Street. It also distracts him enough to take other things for the picnic. I know, for me, I’ve always had a hard time taking the hat while he’s planting the flower. If you do it, after falling over backwards from hammering his thumb, it’s easier and he won’t chase you down, unless you stand there for a minute.

Instead of running all the way around with the gardener’s hat, you can save time by dropping it into the well. Also, you can take the rake all the way around by the river near the well and drop it in there (that also counts as a lake).

Just a note, you can place the sandwich and the apple on top of the basket to save some time!

This requires you to practice this particular part until you become proficient at it, as the sandwiches and apple fall off VERY easily. Better to just do them one at a time.

I agree with the sandwiches part because theyre flat, but the apple rolls too easily. Drag picnic basket in front of bench, add 2 sandwiches on top, then drag basket to blanket. Might save a few seconds if you do it perfectly?

3:12 When you steal the hat, just drop it in the middle of the thick bush right behind the man. He loses anything you drop in that bush. You dont need to run far with the hat.

Well now the time for these types of achievements are 6 minutes.. so I tried it countless times but it didn’t work, I don’t know what to do now, I was already at four minutes doing the picnic achievement..

A better way is to use the sprinkler to get the gardener wet and hide items in the grass instead of at the side of the house he tends to find items there easily

When I finished after MANY attempts the page with the church bell said that I had 1minute left, I was finished when you were at 00:06:04:00 and I think you also got a HeadStart, so I think I won in terms of racing. I watched your video 11 times before this re-watch, and I am quite happy with myself, because I was, and still am, a new player and after 2.5 days the "Quickly" achievement variations were the only ones I needed and since I was new, I could only get the variation of the High Street because it took you 4min. and me 6min. 30sec. But I (And this is probably the reason why I didn't succeed) finally did everything how you did it and changed the order a little bit, and what do you know, I did it. I originally was anxious about time, so, I rushed. I moved the hat to the otherside of the river and wasted a ton of time. So, I'm going to follow your instructions from now on because your quite, no VERY helpful. you deserve 1millio-no 10MILLION subscribers instead of 12.4K. Anyways, thanks for the help. When I was putting the rake in the lake the gardener came by and took the rake, but I stole his keys and then he pushed the rake into the lake, and while he was trying to get his keys back, I went into the water, and he went in and got wet. So, I got rake in the lake, steal the groundskeeper's keys, and get the groundskeeper wet.

You can go thru the hole in the hedge, behind the wooden crate, if gate is closed.

Yeah, don't ever lead him to the blanket. It's better to drop something if he sees you, then grab something else when his back is turned.
