Have always liked this song...and identifiy with it...but just a question...the Bible says a man had 2 sons...and the youngest asked for his inheritance...so that would not be the firstborn..Luke 15:11 & 12...

@@oldermusiclover The second verse is what sounds like the testimony, whereas the first verse sounds like the parable. So the lyrics to reflect the parable should say second born. When the Kingsmen sing it they say second born for that first verse.
