What I love about Amity this episode is that her behavior is so relatable. She has feelings for someone for the first time, so she doesn't know how to react and is a complete mess. It's also funny and cute how she's normally very smart and capable but her brain completely shuts down once something has anything to do with Luz.

I can't believe how well u described Luz when u were talking abt Luz thinking of life as if it was a movie. But what I love abt this ep is that Luz took full responsibility for her mismanaging the situation and admitted she was wrong before any disaster happened. Truly shows how much she grew. And Amity's gay panic is the cutest thing ever. She's precious and must be ptrotected.

What I love is that after Grom we could have easily gone back to making it very light subtext that Amity has a thing for Luz but no! Dana and crew were allowed to be very blatant about what was going on and I love love love it! It’s so good. Mae Whitman did such a good job with all of Amity’s panic lines.

From what I remember of reading the books way back when, it does mention that it's possible for a team to catch the snitch and lose. Apparently if you're far enough behind in points, the golden cat toy don't mean jack. Still wildly OP and renders the majority of games more or less useless.
