I've only seen two of Branden's films.... Thirteen/Triple... I thought they were excellent. It was years ago when I viewed them. Now it looks like I'm going to have to peruse the remainder of his collection. P.S., I love the tall guy in Thirteen.... I'm so vain and greedy, I think I want them both l..... Uh Oh, now I've gone and done it. Don't mind me, I'm just a knucklehead fanboy deluxe gay dude....

You are so right and right on target. For example, Brokeback Mountain is not a gay movie it's a male bonding movie and until you understand the difference you are lost. Call Me by Your Name, same thing...as men, male bonding is what we all want even though we cannot admit it (or perhaps just don't understand it)

Courtney Francis Hey Courtney, believe it or not, D'Andrea Lampkin who is the African American actor in this works for the Sheriff's department and they have slammed him, shamed him and ridiculed him for making this film. They've also mentioned that he would not be promoted unless he had it taken down. Even though this film has screened at festivals all over the world and with honors, when he asked us if we would take it down, we decided to oblige him. I have added you to the list of people who are allowed to watch it privately if you're not able to view it let me know. Here's the link.

Hi Branden - Thanks for your recent response. I must say I only came across your films haphazardly and did not realize until yesterday/today what you have actually produced. I can't remember if I left a posting for "Thirteen or so Minutes" or not - but again - it took a few viewings before it really hit home. It's magnificent. I came across "Derek and Cameron", (is that title correct?) again, by chance and felt very enthralled. You explore a territory in male sexuality that I find very interesting - also because it reflects many of my own thoughts and feelings. I have not yet seen all of the work that you may have posted on KZbin but certainly look forward to seeing them at some time. Your films are incredibly moving - and when one contemplates the deeper significance of the dialogue, facial expressions, body language etc. I find they open up levels of meaning that are so subtle, so sensitive and so real in terms of the human experience and the vagaries of the human heart. You are a very talented film maker - please keep doing what you do. It' is very important work.
