Feminine men seem to be the heartthrobs of Gen Z. From Harry Styles to Timothée Chalamet, the desired man seems to be getting increasingly feminine, often rejecting many elements of traditional masculinity. Speaking of feminine men, watch this...

My dad taught me that masculinity is not being afraid to get your hands dirty, helping others, not whining about things and being the one to step up to something when it needs to get done. It's perverted nevertheless. A man shouldn't be woman like. It doesn't even make sense to call yourself a man but then act like the opposite. It'd be like saying it's ok for humans to act animalistic. It's like no, we have culture, societal constructs and beliefs, we can't just act like undisciplined, dirty creatures.
@SRose-vp6ew
@SRose-vp6ew Жыл бұрын
I actually don’t think it’s that perverted. I think they perverted a guy being good with music and a girl being good at keeping order as if those personality traits are masculine or feminine. Secular culture pushes people into the stereotypes. Things like meekness and being poor in spirit are not feminine traits. Throughout history guys we’re more likely to wear a skirt then pants so it’s not a perversion if a guy is so confident in his masculinity that he tries to bring back that look. It’s only cross dressing if you make it cross dressing. We should stay away from “lying” by how we dress. No, we shouldn’t try to look like the other gender and expect to be treated like the other gender, that’s a perversion of reality and down right LYING. But the outfit he’s wearing kind of looks like he’s a macho Jock from the 1980s. Think Slater from saved by the bell. If you took away their ridiculous understanding of what they are doing they are just a normal couple not sure how to explain themselves because of woke nonsense shoved at them. The reason why it might present itself as a perversion, is because they’ve been trained in all the wonky crazy woke ideology that says they are a different gender if they don’t fit sexist liberal stereotypes. I’m not saying they have it all worked out away from perversions or that they aren’t doing things I could actually pervert their relationship from what God intended, but if they are non-Christians this is the normal place that things used to be at and now they’re acting like it’s some unique thing that they don’t have to be gay or identify as trans just because she doesn’t want to wear make up and he thinks he looks good in a cut off shirt.

This shows you exactly that many conservatives don’t mean it when they say “it’s ok to dress however you want and not conform to stereotypes but just don’t change gender or think of yourself as the other gender or promote transitioning “. It is all BS. They do have a problem with people non conforming to stereotypes in various degrees and perhaps that is why people choose to transition because if they “pass” they won’t get ridiculed or laughed at. He's more suave; the type of man that is not masculine in the sense of being physically fit, and quick to try and fix everything, but instead he's able to charm and act like a gentleman. This means he leans more into being charming, a rouge gentleness that leaves a heart fluttering, while still teasing.

@@TheAstrologyVitamin You do realize it's society in how men/women have been told what to wear and how to dress, right? I personally don't see any issue with the way the couple presented themselves b/c as tsrocks2029 mentioned, nothing was forced. On top of that, hormone blockers can actually be dangerous (but no one seems to care enough to do diligant research on this matter). Who says you cannot be your true 100% self in your own biological bodies? As Brett mentioned, you can still be yourself without the extra fluff (meaning nothing needs to be added to anything). There will always be feminine looking boys and men out there and the same goes for masculine looking girls and women too. Given and I am not saying I am transphobic, but for those who are transgender need to learn to Accept & Underrstand that there are and will be transphobic people out there. And are you saying that you would be OK with a kid and/or teen WILLINGLY chopping off their dingaling area (for boys) or their knockers (for girls) in order to actually become the opposite gender? The majority of us know the gender reassignment facilities are only in it for the money and it wouldn't be promoted as much as it is now if they weren't. What the majority of us are against are kids/teens chopping off their own body parts since in reality, they don't have the mental capacity to make that decision for themselves. As a Teenager, they may feel like the opposite gender currently, but how would they know for a Sole Fact that they'd feel the same way by the time they turned 20 yrs old? Girls have no idea how lucky they are. Even today, effeminate gay guys actually experiences more violent attacks and bully than masculine lesbians do. The thing is the guy still is masculine and the girl is still feminine. They’re just not playing pretend. That doesn’t change their gender. Thank God they understand this. I bet that guy is just as protective of her as any other guy would be who loved her. Doesn’t mean she can’t be physically stronger and still a real girl. Yes, he literally dresses like a 1980s Slater from saved by the bell, masculine is not in how you dress and while I am sure tough times or healing from tough times will probably make him develop more masculine traits, it doesn’t make him a women to retreat to more feminine things even if there is some thing there where he needs some healing. Although, it’s clear that so much of what the world would call feminine in him is actually good and manly. When women say they want a more feminine man it tends to be because society, secular society, has redefined what those words really mean. Women absolutely want a gentle, loving, sensitive, caring, thoughtful, meek (that doesn’t mean weak) man. That’s just biblical masculinity. Men are to love women so much that they should be willing to die for them. Who is to say this guy can’t love her to that level with a cut off shirt? In the same way women are to respect others. I bet she respects him more than anyone else does. 💕

I like their attitude with this actually. Everyone always says "just because your feminine/masculine doesnt mean your trans" but then when there is people that are like "Im feminine/masculine and I'm definitely not trans" people are like "noo be normal" like something I've learned is that neither side will ever be satisfied. For the left, you will never be "diverse" enough and for the right, you will never be "traditional" enough. Something different about your personality/identity will always be a threat to the box you've set up for yourself. Everyone wants to be something or someone so bad that they forgot that it's okay to just be you. You don't have to fit into a specific "aesthetic" or archetype. Most people in the left are so afraid of being too "basic" that they are causing so much damage in an attempt to be unique. And a lot of people on the right are too worried about being seen as "strange" that will restrict themselves from acting a certain way or liking certain things that aren't considered "traditional." You don't need to drastically change yourself to be unique, just be a good person and people will come to like you, they don't need to like your pronouns, and you don't need to suppress any part of your personality to fit into a box. Gender itself ISN'T a social construct, but gender roles ARE. You don't have to fit into what everyone considers the "norm" but if you want to, there is also no shame in doing that. You can be an absolute butch lesbian and still want to be a stay at home mom. Or you can be a traditional christian straight woman and still be the primary provider for your family. Norms change with the times. Rich men a few hundred years ago used to wear makeup, frills, and heeled shoes. I don't see any real reason to make fun of people who don't fit the box you've put yourself in. But it seems like every time I leave a comment like this I always get at least one reply of "but its okay if they are a bunch of freaks" or "trust me you are just a kid and I know more about this than you" and if you read this to leave a reply like that, please at least get some valid reasoning before you go and try to start a fight. I'm tired of arguing with 35 year old toddlers. I just exercised my 1st amendment right and said what I think and I'm willing to debate if anyone will actually be mature about it.

@@arieltal222 Well even though animals aren't as intelligent and complicated as we are, their roles they play aren't always biologically related, but they definitely do some things biologically driven, but other things are just what these species seem to have figured out work the best for them. Cuz some people will make the argument of "oh well women are supposed to stay home with kids and men are supposed to hunt for the food. You can't argue with nature!" But not all animals are even like that, if that's nature's way then why do penguins do it the other way around? And a bunch of other animals will defy the "roles" humans have made. The point is that roles don't really matter. Just do what makes you happy. If fitting into that role is what makes you happy, then go for it. That was the whole point of what I said.

Thank you for this well-thought out response!! I think you’re the first person on the internet I’ve found who thinks similarly to me 😭 I think people can be who they want to be without needed to be so drastic. Everyone is a critic no matter how “normal” or how crazy someone acts. I think the left is pushing boundaries more drastically than ever and it’s a little bit too much at this point. There’s this societal phenomenon that happens which is similar to a pendulum, and I think things will swing back into balance at some point, but this radical and extreme leaning to the left is a result of the right wing ideals being so prominent in society for so long. I think that letting people give children hormones or operate on them young is wrong (literally in the case of intersex people, they are fighting against doctors doing “corrective surgery” at birth to assign them male or female bc often it hurts them when they are older). But I also think that if someone has felt a certain way for many many years and they are unhappy as a woman or a man, then they have the right to do that (as an adult, or at least past puberty). Overall, I think people should be allowed to just be! Who are we to dictate what their version of normal should be? If a man is more feminine and wants to present as such and vice versa, and they aren’t hurting anyone, then why should we criticize?

My thoughts are as follows: I'm a straight guy, but not masculine. I don't believe in traditional gender roles because it locks people in places they hate. I personally would not wear female-looking clothes because my barrel of a torso would not allow it, but I'm open to trying anything to make me look better than I do. I think that people can do whatever as long as it doesn't cause long-term harm to themselves or others, because ultimately they are the ones living with their choices. The guy in this video is far more extreme than I am, whereas I'm more of a 50-50% blend, which is very hard for people to deal with. I look like a typical Industrial/EDM-culture guy, but have a few distinctly female traits that throw people off, such as emotional awareness and conversation skills. In summary, good for them finding their partner, I think it's a good thing that alt-culture people can set aside their differences and try something new.

I'm a feminine man. I don't dress gay but I feel like I act gay, and even my friends (who are mostly girls) agree! But even though I get asked if I'm gay on a daily basis, I am straight. My self confidence has just dropped throughout my life as I've wondered if I'll ever "find love" as they say. I understand where this couple, especially the man, is coming from as I've been experiencing it for a while. It doesn't make it any less weird, but I see where they're coming from.

If you are being yourself then women will sense it's genuine and those who are a good fit will be attracted to that. Prince was hot and women loved him, lots of feminine men can be extremely attractive. Women are put off by the fashion fakers and autogynephiles because they're inauthentic and the latter are creepy. A naturally feminine man can be beautiful so be yourself.

I am kind of same(?). Raised by women, and think I adopted their mannerisms and channeled my interests through things they liked. Naturally it was severly bullied for it. The hardest thing was not knowing what to do about it. I didn't want to even behave that way. But when I had a genuine laugh or was excited about something it would come out for sure. Something that helped me was realising that all men 'learn' to become men. I was never taught how to be one, and that, I think, played a huge role. "Women become, men are made" as they say. Now I've learned how to react, walk and speak in a way that is more natural for men, and even though it was hard in the beginning it became second nature after it turned into habit. But it is a major point of insecurity. But that's the burden I have to carry, I guess. We all have our loads to bear in life.

The judgement in these comments is so disheartening. We constantly talk about how dangerous it is to think that women can be men and men can be women. Even Brett has said it’s ok to be a feminine man or a masculine woman. It doesn’t make you the opposite. For example, it’s healthier to be a “tomboy” than be a young woman who thinks they are a trans man. We should be ok with couples like this, it’s far healthier than pretending gender can change. And btw I say all of this as an average conservative woman who is only attracted to masculine men, I’m just saying it’s better to embrace non-stereotypical parts of yourself than to think you’re the “wrong” gender. Like shouldn’t we just be glad they aren’t castrating themselves?

@@marycrawford9428 Well, i don't know you but think maybe you're saying you don't fit the media's model of feminine. Maybe that's not it-- sorry to presume. But as for myself, i feel that there's "feminine" as in just being a woman and naturally being you in a comfortable way; then there's "feminine" in terms of all the purchased junk that has gone with it for a long time, but much worse since mass media and advertising. So "feminine" in reality has nothing to do with painted fingernails and high heels and all those things drag queens like to take on, and i think the movement away from that "little metal women on the mud flaps" notion of femininity is natural and healthy. We just do what we do to be comfortable, happy, healthy people, and being sexy might be an aspect of it some or most of the time; but "feminine" or "sexy" doesn't necessarily mean sporting a bunch of purchased bling. In the movies and series we see him develop as a person, struggle, fall, and always get up. He acts arrogant while not actually being arrogant. I think it’s actually good that this couple has more publicity - it will show others that you can have personal style preferences and a unique personality without having to “align” your sex/gender with it. At the end of the day, makeup and heels have historically been for men and women. Heels were for men first. Everyone wore tunics [aka “dresses”, if you want to call them that] in the past. Fashion is an external cultural concept. We’ve been culturally conditioned ever since we were born. What you like does not change the fact that you are a male or female. We actually tend to box people in and cause them to suppress their natural personal quirks and interest for the sake of fitting into their given cultural “category”. This is how we end up in the current crisis. Just consider - We have toys for girls called “dolls” and toys for boys called “figurines” or “action figures”. They serve the same function for the kids to play with. Just because a boy plays with dolls or a girl plays with action figures, it doesn’t mean they are not their given gender/sex. They are who they are - a child who wants to play make believe with characters. At its core there is no difference between these two toys to the child until we tell them there is.

Exactly. Preferences for dress have more to do with personality than gender. I’m a woman, but my personality is extremely practical and frugal. So, nothing too high maintenance, expensive (although I do thrift higher end clothing because it’s usually made to last longer), etc. I cut my own hair, do my own nails, and sew, knit and crochet, for the same reasons. I know what I will get, it will be done right and it is more cost effective. I also like to workout, purposely building muscle, and sing tenor. Does not make me a guy or someone who likes girls. Makes me a strong and sometimes stubborn woman who found her match in a Marine, someone who goes all in, appreciates my skill sets and outlook as an asset, and is as direct as they come.

My take is to just dress for whatever the current weather allows or demands. Also, she speaks ALOT about the declining testosterone rates and how lifting weight increases it. Firstly idk if she even understands the endocrine system. Levels decreasing are inevitable we live in an industrialized society. No one is lifting 1 ton of metal anymore. The Norm levels is fine actually, its only when ur levels are so low that it causes negative health outcomes and horrible symptoms. Also, Yeah exercising increases it TEMPORARILY for a little less then a day. Any form of Exercising in general helps with testosterone in men; however, weight lifting or resistance training is the one that causes the most elevation. She mentions it so much that she makes it seem like its a do or die. REGURDLESS Always stay physically fit and ensure your the best version of yourself period. - Pharmacy Student.

Says a loooot tbh. I don't think a lot of conservatives are cool about gender variance of any type, be it how you dress or act or who you are (being trans or nonbinary) and videos like these literally expose it. Y'know what, this is fine. People who are typically different from what their gender dictates deserve love too. She's more masculine and she's looking for some feminine energy and he's more feminine looking for more masculine energy, good for them for finding each other. Hope they make it.

As someone who had a crush on both thor and loki, loki’s appeal wasn’t being feminine, I don’t think he’s feminine at all actually, he’s charming and confident, he has rizz.

Just because a man is feminine, does not mean he has to be attracted to men Just because a woman is masculine doesn’t mean she has to be attracted to women Feminine men and masculine women can be attracted to each other Gender nonconformity is valid

telling on myself: my ex-husband used to be very in touch with his feminine side and truly had no shame cross dressing. he's still very into women, he's just comfortable with playing gay. He's a fun/funny dad of our two girls and they love him and his quirky self. Im ok as long as he never mutilates himself.

I'm glad they are making their relationship public. It might help many confused people to see they are straight in spite of having attributes of the other sex. It may save many people from getting body parts cut off. I think this is especially good to push back against those trying to push kids towards transgenderism.

@@Draftspike is cus a lot of transpeople transitioning these days are in fact just gay. And many transwomen continue to love women, but don’t feel comfortable with their ‘roles’, wich makes them resent their image. There’s studies that the insula (part of the brain responsible for self-awareness, body image, empathy) of gay men and transwomen is practically the same, and different from ciswomen and cismen (that are overall very different from one another)

@Sirah not to mention last year during her reaction movie LOTR videos, she called any male companion/friend/fellowship with another male to be "gay." Imagine if she covers a war film/TV series She clearly doesn't understand comradeship and will call anything out to be "gay" even if there's no romantic feelings between two males who might consider themselves to a fellow brother-in-arms.

I’ve been thinking and saying for decades, if you’re a feminine man just look for a masculine woman if masculinity attracts you- and the same goes for masculine women to look for feminine men if they attracted to femininity. Everyone was born in their correct body with their correct sex, just look for that person of the opposite sex who was meant for you. You might have to look a bit longer and farther, but your “meant to be” opposite half has been born (or at least been conceived) out there somewhere in the world.

Sorry honey but what you've been saying for decades is stupid. There is a difference between men and masculine women, as a gay male I'm not attracted to women at all romantically. If I were, then yes I'd be attracted to a masculine woman, but I'm not. Just because you say it doesn't make it true lmao 🤣... People who aren't gay just DON'T get it.

I wouldn't say _weird_ - I'd say it's "unusual". And there's absolutely nothing wrong with unusual. Good for them, they know who they are and are comfortable showing it in public - that's more than a lot of us are capable of. As long as they're happy together I don't think anyone should be judging them. And they're not judging others or pushing others to conform to their own preferences or personality traits. They're just out here enjoying life and each other, and that's awesome to see!! We need positivity like this cos there's _far_ too much negativity being lumped on us at the moment.

Honestly I'm really happy for that couple. I don't think it's about them trying to be unique either, it seems they're really just comfortable in their own skin and love each other for it. They arent letting people convince them theyre something they aren't because it "fits" better. Sure they're getting attention for it, but it doesn't seem as desperate and entitled, they aren't demanding we understand or validate them or worship them. My husband and I aren't even close to this level, but I'm not the most feminine and he's not the most masculine, and I've observed this in a few other relationships as well. The most feminine women seem to settle with very masculine men and vice versa. It's very interesting to me, so hey, they may have found a true match, more power to em!
