I cant imagine that, its amazing that Ruki managed to write this song from her point of view, showing the intense fear, pain and suffering without mentioning the actual events. R.I.P Junko Furuta.

It’s a beautiful song with a deep meaning.. As always are the songs of The Gazette .. I can't understand what's the matter with people who proclaim “IS NOT ABOUT JUNKO FURUTA”, “STOP SAYING THAT IS ABOUT JUNKO FURUTA” What anger them so much?!….If The Gazette made this song inspired on her history, partially, or if they didn't, we really don't know. And it doesn't really matter. If people want to dedicate her this song.. What's the problem with that?!! It's a good way to kept alive her memory and the lyrics couldn't describe better the feelings of a person who went through unbearable pain and desperation as Junko did. I still dedicate to her. I will never understand the people who refuse to believe this ISN’T a tribute to her suffering and pain. Even before I saw this video or read the translation of the lyrics on Jpopasia, this song made me cry (and still does) because I could feel the pain! Whether it actually was a tribute to Furuta Junko , or ANY OTHER WOMAN WHO WAS RAPED, TORTURED &MURDERED.., this is still powerful and respectful of the victims pain.

I agree, they never confirmed it and Junko's horrible story is one of the many cases of women tortured and murdered in the world but I think of her when I listen to this song in both versions. In the japanese version it says "冬尽く春を思う" wich means "I think of spring when winter it's exhausting", Junko was kidnapped in november and died in the middle of winter so in a way the lyrics remind me of this case even if it's not about her specifically

I've listened to this song many times, never realizing it was about a murder. I read about the case and I am in tears. To die such a horrible death is imaginable and no one should ever experience that. Junko was a beautiful girl who could of lived a full life, but was instead given this degrading and disgusting way to live for 44 days. My prayers are with her family, even after 22 years. I love how the gazettE manages to make so many awesome and interesting instrumentals for all their tracks. Taion intro sounds super scary and gives a little bit of discomfort but the chorus changes the key of the song and makes it so sad. I have a thing called synesthesia which makes me see colors on music and here I always manage to see this transition between intro and chorus like a blue going to green. It's pretty crazy haha so the conclusion is: the gazettE is an amazing band and I think we should also talk about the stunning composition they have

its only junko not ruki, ruki just feels deep sadness and hate over the injusticness that happened to junko, and because those guys didnt get that much time in prison, their is also a manga story about this

That's correct, the song was from NIL 2006, but this video is not from the official channel but a fan who posted the MV 2 years later after its release.

guys this song has nothing to do with junko ven the interview said it's nothing to do with it or else he would mention it,only the fans think that it's for junko cause of the lyrics ;o
