I always felt so sorry for the Neckbrace Girl, AKA Joan Cusack. I wish that they'd given her more of a role in the plot.

Don’t Go School Bus 🚌 They Need Some Rules

I never had to ride the bus in grade school, Junior High and High School. Some of my friends did, and the stories they told were very much like what is depicted here. Most agreed the nature of the Bus Driver had a lot to do with the ride you experienced.

That's the one thing this movie got completely wrong. In reality there were hardly any nerds on school buses. And for good reason. Because everyone was terrified of riding on a school bus during middle school & high school because of bullies & scumbags that rode the bus home. If you were lucky enough to sit up front by the bus driver you were technically safe. Parents of nerds dropped off and picked up their kids from school so they didn't have to ride the bus. Even a lot of regular civilized kids didn't ride the effing bus. If all we had to worry about was nerds on the bus it would have been a blessing because they're harmless & shy. They kept mostly to themselves anyways.
