Those statues on each side of the door are just stunning works of art. Very informative, and great job teaching us history as you go!

I didn't know Aix is such a beautiful city. That overlook to mount Saint Victoire is amazing, can imagine Cezanne made so many paintings here.

One of my favorite places also. I stayed in marseille and enjoyed my visit there. Especially to perfume houses. Gorgeous city. Vlog beautifully done. ♥️

Thank you for so thoroughly showing Aix in this video! I studied there in 2009, and have since ached to return. You're lucky to get back so often!

I have been there, as well as Avignon, Nimes and Arles, it is really stunning. Oh yes callissons are so yummy :-) Love seeing how passionate you are about this place. I cannot believe you are alone on the spot where Cézanne painted.

I always love going to local markets and seeing such a wide variety of stuff being sold. Sometimes find the best fresh fruit in these markets.

When I was living there, I would go to the market for lunch and munch on raspberries while strolling. I miss that SO MUCH!

Years ago when I travel to Aix-en-Province I remember driving through a small town that smelled like you were in a perfume bottle. The flowers were so amazing (and they were a producer of flowers for perfumes).

Great video about Aix-en-Provence, I've been to the surrounding areas but not there yet. Looks like I'll have to make a visit there next time. So cool that place was empty on the mountain, I always like to avoid the tourist crowds. Nice work!
@katielivingabroad7 жыл бұрын
You'll definitely have to stop by! A hike up the mountain in autumn or spring is an excellent way to avoid crowds and get out of the city- just a little more energy required ;)

1st time for me to hear about flavored vinegar. Here in the Philippines, vinegar is part of almost every meal. We like dipping all sorts of food in vinegar, now I'm very curious about the flavored ones. I've always liked how to speak infront of the camera. very clear and professional

I would like to see all the different fountains they have. It looks really pretty. 300 days of shine is right up my alley as long as it isn't disgustingly hot.

Not big on Rose, but definitely would add this to my list for when I road trip through France. Seems like a town that would be very calming and chill to bet at for a few days.

Great video! I absolutely fell in love with Provence when I was there! The lavender was by far the most memorable. This video provided so much interesting information about the specific region. I love how you aligned the history with the culture. The markets, the attitude, the vibe. So cool! Love the view point as well, my favorite places are the least touristy! I can't wait to go back and find that spot!

Oooooooh we are so excited and thankful your channel popped up!!! And was recommended for us. We have watched dozens of Paris videos "getting ready ... dreaming and planning" to go visit 🇫🇷after my daughter graduates from high school in America 🇺🇸. We had almost 😢given up the dream because ....the cities pick pockets and strange street approachers were just toooo discouraging to us ... we will be two ladies traveling alone. Now we have 🤗hope and a 🤗dream ... again. We can give up the carrousel 🎠 and Eiffel Tower but we sure wanted to experience 🇫🇷 France. Thank you for taking the time to make this lovely video 🌸

I'm so excited you'll be heading to France, it's such a beautiful country! It's true that there are pickpocketing issues in Paris, but to be honest, that's true in most major cities- nothing to prevent you from going! Paris is a beautiful city as well, you can even go to Paris and Aix in the same trip- it's easy to get between them by train. In case you'd like help planning your trip, please let me know! studyhardtravelsmart.com/travel-consulting/

A city of a hundred fountains, how interesting, I didn't know that. I love farmers markets, especially overseas because when I travel the thing I always crave the most is fresh fruits and veggies - which unless you seek these things out its hard to find in the city center. The calezone looks good, but I would go for the Lavender.
