Limerick started the 2000ths very well winning 3 under 21 titles , with a great manager Dave Keane , but the country Board did not do anything to make sure the under 21 success was built on , were Limerick should have been challenging Kilkenny in the 2000ths , but it turned into a total flop bar getting to the 07 final

Go away niall. What were you looking for ? Liam lenihan can’t go out onto the field and do it. Clearly in hindsight of all our success we were never good enough but attitude can take you a long way and in 2007 final and 2009 semi final our attitude wasn’t up to par. We believed but unfortunately not enough. Roomers of experienced players telling mary McAleese of a house party during the president intro. Very similar to waterford believing that they deserved something all the time. Even John k has referenced 2009 and the reason for getting us off the floor. 2009 was the worst day ever in a limerick jersey. We love all teams that played and while certain managers players will be favourites we always need guys to give the green and white everything it wasn’t always felt with your era. Rightly or wrongly. Again my opinion. But don’t blame others for OUR shortcomings.
