Minor comment: @52:59 the lunar lander is NOT about to land on the moon, it is returning FROM the moon. Notice the absence of the lander's lower stage which included the lander's legs.

I did not think he made any profound insights in this video. Also this lecture didn't age well. And the last sentance about how he thinks that the human race will finally grow up is a fantasy. Especially his premise for his theory is which was if we had a most acurate represention of the universe that some how would make see reality more clearly and therefore the human race would grow up is just ridiculous.

Why are you spamming us with the now controversial figure of Dawkins, who is now a 'Christian' in principle. I mean he's gone back on the fundamental drivers that led him to think about these ideas in the fist place, so this is all rubbish and Dawkins himself is saying this.

It was an an old lecture with no profound insights. Especially his last sentence about the human race growing up. Having a more accurate representation of the universe will not make humanity grow up.
