I really like how you can see the gears turning in Goku's head at the beginning of the fight, he was basically able to out power everyone he's fought till this point, but this is his first challenging fight so far. he has to play on the defensive at the beginning of the fight to see what this opponent is capable of and to determine how or if he can win against Tammagami 3. once he turns ssj its still not even over he's just now playing on a even playing field with Tamamgami 3. it really says alot about how powerful Goku really is at the beginning of Daima post majin buu arc, because even since he's been turned into a child its now established that he's even more powerful than Dabura in the majin buu arc.

People complain because they don't want to revisit the Buu saga but rather have a continuation of Super. They don't want to watch Goku go SSJ again they want Ultra Instinct Goku. And them being kids also is a factor. I don't agree btw I love Daima. As someone who loves OG DB the most this is up my alley. But I understand why they have an issue with Daima.

@ogloc8405Ай бұрын
@@Lagia7 DBZ is literally way better than DB IMO. I've watched everything from the beginning to super to the manga. Z is where dragon ball really took off. The most iconic moments in db are in Z. Not saying Original dragon ball was bad or nothing but its no DBZ IMO. And Daima fd up when they decided to make the Z fighters kids.
@gokunenn424325 күн бұрын
@ogloc8405 The "Z" arcs - they are still just Dragonball in the manga, I don't know why you would not read it if you are actually wanting to experience early Dragonball- are full of nonsensical moments that are easily some of the worst Toriyama has ever written. Hype fights and iconic moments mean shit if the story needs to take such a hard dive to accomodate them. Daima also didn't fuck up with making them children. That has nothing to do with the quality of the story. Early DB is not worse by virtue of having a kid Goku. That isn't how it works.

I think what surprised me most was just seeing Shida here so early in the show. They tend to reserve him for bigger, more climactic parts of a story, so it did catch me off guard that he was the one to finish off this specific fight, the first major one in the show, and wasn't reserved for a later fight. Not to say he won't show up in later fights, mind you, I just sorta expected him to show up at a later point in the show when I saw his cut in the trailers.

Maybe unpopular opinion but Goku fighting in base form was my fav part. Shida part wasn't even my fav part lol. Goku using the power pole to slow him down by sticking it between the 2 walls and then use it to spin around and launch himself back into the fight sh1t like this is what I live for in fights. I just hope we see more of that going forward. Unlike others, Goku is a true martial artist. So it's even more satisfying when it's not just all beam lasers and ki blasts. Remember when Goku did the one inch punch against Frieza ? More of that please. While I LOVE Ultra Instict, there were plenty of moments where I couldn't even follow along during the Jiren fight. I know it's because they screwed over the animators which I hope they never do again. But how cool would UI Jiren fight be if they added more of these amazing martial art movements that we could follow along. This fight was great because it made me feel how I felt watching OG DB fights, it had amazing choreography, fights were creative and you could follow along perfectly. Remember Jackie Chans final fight scene in Drunken Master 2 ? That should be the blueprint for the perfect Dragon Ball fight scene. Imagine Goku mastering Drunken Master in honor of Jackie Chun (Jackie Chan) and doing some of those moves he did in that film. The internet would break from that fight scene haha.
