I love how our Lovely Lin demonstrates again and again that effective repairs can be made using only what is available at the time. MFG specs, proper tools and procedures are all great in the good times But when things go bad, tools and parts are unavailable, then Lin's skills become pure gold. She then becomes an Angel that can keep your family fed or warm. Or keep your animals alive. No matter what is available. 💜

She aint showing us the full picture you now. The multimeter I have seen her use is a ancient old battered moving coil instrument. A cheap modern one costs 6 pounds in the UK. They must be cheaper in China. I have seen her use the most battered adjustable wrench [spanner] when new ones are dirt cheap .She has access to parts and materials because I have seen some small hard to make parts just magically appear.in her rebuilds. New large metal plates and reels of copper winding wire just appear. I think that she chooses to approach it this way to prove she can. She has a university degree in Water Conservancy and Hydropower Engineering. She has all the knowledge to use modern tools and equipment but chooses not to. She also chooses not to tell us. I will not attempt to denigrate her work. She has wonderful skills. I admire her tenacity to leave her big engineering company job and move back to her home village where the people are poor. Its her home and I know and understand this implicitly. I did it too.

Good job. For removing or installing the head bolts in the future consider using the double nut technique. 2 nuts on top of each other tightened towards each other then you can remove or install using the top nut. Keep fixing/building. You remind me of me at your age 😀, so nice to see the skills of a younger person not wasted.

Good video, however to much video on removing flywheeand, pressure wash, and sand blasting, Nice work on the base and the painting. Nice colour. You did not replace the piston rings or ball hone the cylinder liner bore. Change the o-ring in the wet cylinder liner. .With that engine as contaminated as it was with rust and water that is a must. Also change the con rod brg. I did not see you rework the valves and seats I am sure they were pitted or replace the barrel and plunger in the fuel injector and the nozzle in the injector. I am sure both were contaminated. Any way nice job, and should see more of the replacement parts. Thanks for the video. I am just recommending. I have worked on these horizontal engines under Yanmar Japan for a Distributor in Vancouver Canada for over 30 years. ,,, Take care and be safe v

Лин,больше видео на пескоструйтво-а это все второстепенное.если промывать-так разбирать полностью.ну и основное внимание нужно было обратить на гильзу,вкладыши,клапана заменить/притереть это всяко разно,головку притереть это тоже обязательно.ну и кольчики на поршне-жто важные аспекты ремонта.промывать поршень вместе с кольцами-нет так не делается
