Honestly im disapointed i didnt hear about Steve Lacy before this album because his whole career is amazing and im so excited to see what he comes out with in the future. This album came out at such a perfect time for me and its got to already be one of my favourite albums of all time its just spectacular and as a aspiring musician has inspired me so much especially as he produced and makes a lot of his tracks most by himself.

Saw Steve live at Coachella 2022 where he played some songs off of Gemini Rights (when it still wasn’t released) and it was absolutely magical. If you can, attend one of his shows. He is a MUSICIAN! He played guitar, bass, and sang beautifully throughout the whole set. Peace

This album is absolutely incredible. Truly a timeless masterpiece. I haven’t liked an album so much I know it from top to bottom by heart since Acid Rap (maybe A Seat at the Table too). Came out in a year with lots of other (very good) bigger name releases, but I hope as time passes Gemini Rights will be widely recognized for the work of art it truly is. Type of album that makes me wish I played & produced music myself for the sheer satisfaction of building something so perfect and sharing it with the world. Thank you Steve

@@fiawms i put normal in quotations because nothing is normal and whats "normal" is constantly changing. im bi myself, so spare me the "different sexualities are normal" speech. this has absolutely nothing to do with homophobia and everything to do with the fact that it is comforting to see people in power, in music, in anywhere being openly gay or bisexual is comforting when youre used to all those people being in straight marriages. its not about "caring what celebrities do" or "being a fan". piss off with this offensive attitude

Helmet is my favorite on the album. The rain in the background, and the instrumental along with the subject matter of the song. It really spoke to me as someone whose been there before. That feeling of losing love for someone who you just can’t love anymore but still holding on. I’ve never seen a piece of work portray that in such a realistic way.

Steve is the kind of success story that encourages me as a underground artist with a small following. Seeing how he’s developed his skills and slowly blown up after seizing each and every opportunity he’s been giving has been inspirational! Mans has quickly become a mainstay in the industry and for good reason. Dude is too nice! I know if I put in the work, I can reach a larger audience some day too, but for now, I’m happy being a supporter. My turn will come too. Salute to Steve Lacy🔥

Steve Lacy is great and hope his successes go even further.I can't believe he produced albums while he was a teenager is impressive. Sure he wasn't the only person doing it before adulthood but that shows he has built experience with his craft. Also it annoys me once artists like him or Tyler the Creator come out, media press them on their sexuality in their music more than anything else.
