"But to a mathematician..." has the same energy as "But to an Outer God outside of spacetime in the Black Court of Azathoth..." Also, this explains how DNA can always untangle itself when it's in its "spaghetti bowl" form in the nucleus of a cell, without tying itself into a knot.

@@mrvoid4282 open ends assure at least an univocal way of untying a string if its in a (not a knot) form, you can always guide the ends of the string backwards throught loops and not-knots until everything is untied; then supposedly, evolution figures it out in biology and does the rest also, those weird ball proteins that the DNA rolls around (forgot the name) assure tha DNA doesnt tie itself over in a 'non mathematical' knot edit: got here very late but hope this helps anyways lol

How in the actual fuck we go from tying knots to recursive cars and then hyperbolic structures
@CShep998 ай бұрын
let me get this straight, if you want to create the opposite of a knot, you must first fold space and time into that knot. so that any knot inhabiting the space will, to an outside observer, appear as not?
@Amonlith3 жыл бұрын
Look at what the knot.. Not.. Knot..? Not. 02:50 from that party its getting tripy, are we merely observers who lives in the cone's surface? From 10:25 this is how they made hypercude in the 2nd cube movie.

why do the insiders see two cars on the cone? cant understand the rest of the video until I get that part
@henryrubenfischer Жыл бұрын
They don't really see two different cars, but the same car twice, since there are multiple ways for light to get from the car to them. This is kind of similar to how with gravitational lensing you can see galaxies behind big gravitational sources multiple times, even though the galaxies are only really there once (don't know if this more or less intuitive lol).
