Surface(cos(u/2)cos(v/2),cos(u/2)sin(v/2),sin(u)/2),u,0,2pi,v,0,4pi. The axially symmetric Klein bottle? A single sided closed surface?

@@nicolasreinaldet732 clearly you don't know what a sphere is.
@KaliFissure9 ай бұрын
@nicolasreinaldet732 you are NOT able to look at the equation and construct it in your mind. You might like to think you can but you are in error. The u/2 creates a closed surface which is effectively 1/2 a sphere and yet is a closed surface. Shirley's Surface I "discovered" it because oi needed a radially symmetric Klein bottle for my cosmology. It's qualities had apparently never been investigated before as it wasn't on any of the online form "registry" So now I have a mention.
@nicolasreinaldet7329 ай бұрын
@@KaliFissure Sorry person on the internet, I saw that sin(u)/2 and read It as sin(u/2) and thought It was only just a different parametrizarion of a sphere. Do you have the link to any article about this shape ?
@KaliFissure9 ай бұрын
@nicolasreinaldet732 they're aren't any that I could find. As I said....I required a form with certain characteristics and so I explored until I created what I needed.
